Reforms that are Needed for the United Nations

The role of the United Nations is so very important to the future of the global community. With problems in the United Nations and around the world becoming so much more complex. As major changes happen around the world so too they must at the United Nations. One nation or one person should not have so much power to be able to stop a resolution. The UN Security Council being the high Council of the UN with the one vote veto you have created a dictatorial bureaucracy on a global level. Giving any one of the Permanent Nations absolute power in being able to stop any resolution they desire.

The UN Security Council should change the one vote veto rule. Keeping the basic format the same with some changes such as; Increasing the number of permanent members to 11 with 2 being rotating members. One would rotate on a five-year basis. The other nine would be permanent members. With one nay vote the resolution passes. With two nay votes the resolution must be amended so there is only one nay vote or less to pass. Three nay votes and the resolution is vetoed. It is through practices and actions like these that tarnish the role of the United Nations and the United States in their leading role with the global community. One vote should not be able to stop what others see to be good for the situation in a global way. We would not tolerate this practice anywhere else, then why at the UN Security Council.

Opening the UN Security Council to the democratic ways we want nations to move towards. This council must act in a global way for what is in the best interest of the global community and not one nation. The current policy of a one vote veto in the Security Council is stifling the work of all of the other groups involved. No nation should have absolute control over the international policy of the global community. A balance of power between local, state and national is as important as the balance between national, regional and global. National re-construction should be a done on a state and national level with the regional neighbor nations and the United Nations leading the way.

Only by building a stronger international global platform of organizations will the answers to peace and security be properly addressed. For this to happen there will be many needed changes that will have to come about to make this possible. As long as the United States government is spending over forty times the annual budget on military spending than all of the United Nations Agencies put together. We will continue to have more wars and less peace in the world. With the United States spending over 420 billion dollars on military spending which is 43% of the world’s total military expenditure. And all of the budgets to the United Nations Agencies total about ten billion dollars. We will not have enough financial resources to make the needed changes to make it a better and safer world. The United States Government military fiscal policies are draining the international monetary system from the needed capital for the developing nations.

Only by creating an independent global platform financed by an International Crude Oil Export Tax (OET) will we create a stable and large enough platform to make the needed changes. For some of the nations that are global super powers this will mean relinquishing some of their international powers. For the smaller and less powerful nations this will mean they will have to contribute more to the international platform. The taxpayers of any one-nation cannot be paying for it all without creating a global supper military empire as we have today.

There should be four new United Nation City States (UNCS) created around the world, one in Europe, Africa, Asia and in South America. The proposed host countries will summit their offer to the United Nations for consideration. The three UNCS will function as part of the United Nations being the home bases for the International Peacekeeping Forces and support operations. Each UNCS will have an international airport, warehouses, and training facilities and housing for United Nations operations. The approximate area of each of the UNCS will be 25 square miles. With the following factors in consideration, the proximity to other nations and international waterways, and the hostess nation support in the future operations. The creation of the UNCS will be a trophy for the hosting nations.

The main purpose of the three UNCS will be to support the international work of the United Nations. UNCS will be the home base for the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces as well as the training centers for United Nations operations. Governments from around the world could send their police and military personnel for United Nations Certification as Reserved International Peacekeeping Personnel. All of the UNCS would have training programs in freshwater and sewer management, medical, policing, farming practices and government operation training programs with support training and operations being offered by non-profit NGO’s. The UNCS could be the international home bases for some of the international non-profit NGO’s. The three UNCS would be run and operated under the United Nations Headquarters. All land in the UNCS will remain under the ownership and control of the United Nations with lease deals to operations and entities that are working in partnership or support in United Nations operations.

The United States Peace Core should be the model for the International Peace Core. It could be based in the United Nations City Nations as a separate institution from the United Nations. It could work hand in hand with the United Nations International Peacekeeping Forces on missions around the world. Only by directing more international resources to mission of peace rather than war will we have a different out come to the problems we face as people of the world. The United Nations annual budget is less than most states or nations it is more comparable to a large University or corporation.

Given the magnitude of responsibilities the United Nations has in the world. The United Nations does not have the resources or power to fulfill its mission and goals. By expanding the United Nations role in international hot spots the United States can down size its international military presents. With the United Nations tooled up for preventative actions then maybe fewer global hot spots will break into full-scale war. With the United Nations stronger in international global affairs it will help make the world a safer and better place for everyone to live.

The United Nations will not intervene in any nations internal affairs unless it is called on to do so by that nation or a mandate by a United Nations Security Council. There is no question that there are a number of super power nations in the world that can win a military war with any number of smaller nations. There is the question if they can win the peace. It is much more economical, practical and socially responsible to rebuild a nation before it is destroyed by war and chaos. The International Peace Core will take on more humanitarian projects as a preventative measure cutting down on the numbers of global military conflicts. By working together with other nations our differences will become less as global living conditions improve for more people around the world. The Pro Israelis Versus David Global Crier

This is what I am hearing from the pro Israel side of the current State of Israel’s policies and military actions. Israel up-roots and leaves Gaza. What does Israel get thousands of rockets fired into southern Israel from Hamas in Gaza. Now, no one would like to have rockets fired into their homeland endangering the lives of their people. Then the pro Israeli supporters try to make some ridiculous comparison what if Canada or Mexico was firing rockets into the United States. The problem with this comparison is that we have not formed a military blockade totally cutting them off from the outside world for years. We have not repeatedly bombed them destroying their infrastructure over the years. We have not assassinated and imprisoned their elected leaders over the years. If we had done any of the same things to our neighbors that the Israelis have done to the people of Gaza and the West Bank. I know the nations of the world’s condemnations would be a lot louder and a lot worse than anything Israel has seen so far. Most of the informed people of the world seeing the Israeli military actions ( collective punishment, targeted assassinations and excessive military force) against Gaza and the West Bank as being in violation of international laws and treaties.

One of the other things I hear a lot from the pro Israeli side is that you can’t trust them they are terrorists. The Palestinian/Arabs want all of the land driving the Jewish people into the sea. The problem with this scenario is that the foreign occupiers have always had military control over their land for many centuries. Today its the Jewish State of Israel is controlling 100% of what was formally known as Palestine. How does an invading foreign nation of people take control of almost all of the land without terrorizing the indigenous people? While the Israelis are claiming to be the victims by the people they mostly control. How can one nation of people claim so many victories in war and conflicts while still claiming to be the victims so many years later is quite puzzling.

When I talk of Peace in the Palestinian/Israeli Crisis. The most common response is “ Not in my lifetime, maybe in my children’s lifetime”. It is this kind of pessimistic outlook that keeps peace a delusion. Yes, it is an up hill struggle all the way, but it is one worth working for the future generations to come. In my short lifetime things have only gotten worse for the Palestinian people. It is quite obvious that my generation and the ones older than mine have not done a very good job in their quest for peace in this crisis. The Sane Verses the Insane

The sane verses the insane with the insane extremists winning most of the time. Whether it is on Newsvine.com or in the mass media news on TV or in print the inflammatory extremists get the headlines with the highest ratings. Leaving little time and front page room for the moderates in the middle. Whether it is the rhetoric from the extreme right or the extreme left they get the most coverage that inflames the people in the middle as well as the people on the other side. This is true all around the world. It is part of human nature. It unites people and divides the people creating the different sides.

No where is this clearer than in the Palestinian/Israeli crisis, the issue of going to war, political campaigns as well as the moral issues. Generally speaking there will be one side of the establishment that is well financed with the other side that is challenging the status-quo that is running on a shoe-string budget. This is the part of the matrix of our system and human nature that makes it harder in solving our problems. Just look at what extreme the National Rifle Association (NRA) will go to defend the American peoples right to own and possess an assault rifle. Or the United States establishment’s campaign to going into war verses the peacemakers who are labeled as traitors and being anti patriots.

The military industrial complex has a vested interest in supporting the military State of Israel, the American people’s right to own an assault rifle and the pounding of the drums for more war. They are all good for more sales and higher profits. There is no way to peace with such great profits being monopolized by a few people and corporations by going to war. The candidates of the two major political parties in the United States cannot challenge the current status-quo without being politically destroyed and discredited as a viable leader. Just look at how fast and how high our federally elected leaders in Washington D.C. move up the ladder to powerful positions by being for more wars. Then look at our federally elected leaders that stand-up speaking out against more war. For the most part they are sidelined and shunned by the establishment often made out to being misfits. Just look at these members of Congress such as Senator Bernard Sanders, Congressman Denis Kucinich and Congressman Ron Paul as good examples of this. Then look at the Congressional leaders of the House and Senate and how much money they have received from the supporters of the military industrial complex and the militarization of the State of Israel as well as the Middle East region. Palestinian & Israelis Peace Plan

There are three main reasons why the Israelis do not want to go back to negotiate at the peace table with the Palestinians. First, time is on the Israeli side. They have total control of what is happening on the ground in their region. While over time the so called “realities on the ground” are changing in the Israelis favor. Secondly the Israeli government receives many billions of dollars for military aid from the United States government and many hundreds of millions of dollars from the international Jewish community. Thirdly the Israelis will lose ground dividing the Jewish people in exchange for peace that may cost them billions in military foreign aid in the future.

When tensions and conflicts are running high between the Israelis and their adversaries. They receive a lot more foreign aid as well as uniting of the international Jewish community behind the State of Israel. Historically durning times of recent peace talks the Palestinians lose more of their ground and the Israeli right wing extremists become more vocal and actively threatening to the Israeli and Palestinian establishment. With the number of illegal Jewish settlers in the West Bank and especially around East Jerusalem more than doubled since the Oslo Accords of 1993.

Over recent years the Israelis have changed the “realities on the ground” on disputed land around the Old City of Jerusalem- East Jerusalem and the West Bank through social engineering. It will only be through social engineering that is more fair and balance that a long term peace solution can be obtained. A clearer vision to how peace would look like and how it is going to work must be outline for more people to understand. The rule of laws must be enforced fairly and be very similar on both sides. What should be right for one side should be right for the other side as well.

The thirty some year Peace Treaty between Israel and Egypt-Jordan has always been on very thin and shaky grounds with the vast majority of the people of Egypt and Jordan. The real glue that held the leaders of Egypt and Jordan together on the Peace Treaty with Israel was the tens of billions of dollars of United States military and foreign aid. With the State of Israel getting the great majority of the United States military financial aid while making the life of the everyday Palestinian people worse than ever before. All of which is very well publicized in the Arab nations especially in Jordan where over half of the population are of displace Palestinian descendants.

With the mass media news leads in the United States greatly favoring the Israeli side and in Egypt-Jordan they greatly favoring the Palestinian side. The way the people of Israel and United States see the problems to this life long conflict greatly differers than the Arab people on the streets. This fomenting great hate and anger towards the actions and policies of the State of Israel and the United States. Where the Arab leaders could be paid off with large sums of oil or foreign aid money to overlook the Palestinian situation.

The Old City of Jerusalem being on the frontline of this life long conflict, bringing out the religiously indoctrinated extremists from all sides. There is very little difference between the Israeli Jewish religious extremists and the United States Christian religious extremists and the Arab Islamic religious extremists. They are one of the same when it comes to compromising on their religious beliefs with others often leading to conflicts. Where the political leaders could be bought and paid for to change and compromise their position. The same could not be said about the extremist religious leaders of faith. Creating a cultural divide between the political leaders of nations and the religious conservative people of faith.

Only by all sides having some empathy for the people of the other side will there be an understanding to the truth. So that a balance and fair settlement can be worked out for a peaceful coexistence among people of the different faiths. One cannot dictate their ways onto other people of different faith as we would not want that done to us. That the extremists on all sides have to be addressed and sidelined for the greater good of the whole society.

What plans and actions will bring long-term peace to the Palestinian and Israelis. Today the general world wide consensus is a two state solution with a Jewish state and a Palestinian state. But the two state solution does not address the major problem of the Old City of Jerusalem that is at the apex. Neither side will concede the Old City of Jerusalem to the other side. This is one reason many of the earlier plans to divide Palestine into a Jewish state, Palestinian state and make a zone for the International City of Jerusalem.

Given the religious significance of the region to the world’s three main religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Maybe why a one nation plan (the Holy Land nation) with three or four separate states should be considered. A peace plan like this might solve more problems than it creates. While creating a permanent governing structure for the long term for both sides to work within. Giving both the State of Israel and the State of Palestine there own autonomy within one nation. With the State of Jerusalem being a separate integrated state with its own bylaws. With the fourth possible state being Gaza.

The State of Israel will head up, in conjunction with the State of Palestine the security of the State of Jerusalem. Most of the State of Jerusalem having equal access to all. With the two possible exceptions being the Jewish Wailing Wall and the Islamic Temple Mount that will have some added restrictions. Creating a nation of states for the two people to peacefully coexist will create a tourists boom for the region. Where the people from both sides could prosper and over time build trust and understanding of one another.

Where the Palestinian-Israeli peace process should start is by reforming the Israeli social engineering laws and policies that are bad. The State of Israel being one of the newest most modern society that was created through intensive social engineering. This creating many of the problems that we see today between the Israelis and Palestinian people. Whether it is the fact that the government of the State of Israel owns and controls 93% of the land within Israel proper for Jewish use only. Or the Jewish use only roads it has created in the illegally occupied West Bank. It is the Israeli government’s social engineering policies and laws that have inflamed an already tense and volatile situation into a sixty plus years of a state of on going war.

There was or is no other way to create a new Jewish state out of a land that was the homeland of another people without social engineering. Today it is clearly understood that there is a Jewish State of Israel that possesses unofficial nuclear weapons with an official fleet of five submarines. From Jewish people without a nation to an unofficial nuclear military power in just sixty plus years. So there is no question on who has the power and control of the Palestinian and Israeli Crisis that has been created through the Jewish Israeli’s social engineering policies and actions.

The question is “For how long will the Israeli’s bad social engineering policies and laws be in place and to what degree will they go?” In a newly created America in the Declaration of Independence “Where all men are created equal” slavery was part of the accepted American system. It was not until the Civil War, almost one hundred years later was slavery was abolished. Then it took another hundred years before black and white people could use the same bathrooms and water fountains. Taking America almost two hundred years to reform-implement some of its bad social engineering policies. The time from muskets to becoming a nuclear military power that was leading the free industrial world.

The State of Israel does not have two hundred years to reform its bad social engineering laws and policies in time of atomic weapons of mass destruction and global instant mass media information. If the State of Israel started to reform some of its bad social engineering laws and policies. There would be so much international goodwill, mostly from outside the region the State of Israel would be seen in a much more acceptable light. Leading to better relations with its Arab nations of people and governments.

This is a possible synopsis of the Palestinian-Israeli Three Third Settlement Peace Plan. The following will be dealing with the disputed land that is being illegally occupied by the State of Israel. With 80% of the Jewish Israeli’s settlers on 20% of the occupied land. One third of the occupied land running adjacent to the 1967 Armistice Line will become part of the State of Israel with some conditions placed upon it. The second one third will be part of the new State of Palestine with some conditions placed on it. The last one third will be the new State of Jerusalem with many conditions placed on it.

Today the State of Israel controls 93% of the land in Israel proper. That is lease to Jewish people only through 49 and 98 year leases. The Jewish one third of land will have a different set of by-laws allowing of a more in mix population 1/3 Palestinian and 2/3 Jewish. The same will hold true on the Palestinian one third with 1/3 Jewish and 2/3 Palestinian. With the people on either side being able to apply for dual citizenship. Only by creating the conditions of a mixed of Palestinian and Jewish population along the border of the two states will the condition for a long term peace be created.

The most contentious part to both sides and the international community is the Old City of Jerusalem. The Old City of Jerusalem has an international religious significance like no other city in the world where three of the world’s major religions come together. For this reason the State of Jerusalem must be created with a whole new range of by laws creating equal access and security for all. The State of Jerusalem will be run by a council 1/3 Palestinian, 1/3 Israeli and 1/3 from the international community. The Israelis will head up and run the State of Jerusalem security forces that will be made up of 1/3 Israelis, 1/3 Palestinians and 1/3 from the international community. The Jewish settlements that fall into the State of Jerusalem will again be divided 1/3 Jewish, 1/3 Palestinian and 1/3 for the international community. The international community could be people from the universities, churches, the Vatican, the United Nations, European Union, international civic organizations, Arab League, Mosques and Temples from around the world.

It will take great sacrifices by the people on both sides with a properly balance social engineering plan implemented for peace to workout. There will always be a small minority on both sides will try to derail any plans for peace because they will not be satisfied until the other side is wiped out. They must be sidelined for the greater good of the majority of people on both sides. David Global Crier

I have become an active user, for the first time last week on FaceBook and Newvine. They are both very different cyberspace platforms for communication.(social networking) in todays world of no boundaries. In my quest to get information out and feedback in, mostly concerning the Israeli/Palestinian life long crisis that has only gotten worse over the recent years. It is a learning experience in progress. I have been in and out as well as kidded out of many political forums/discussions for many years. I have watched the political and diplomatic debate on the Israeli/Palestinian crisis evolve over the years, with so much of it remaining the same cycle repeating over and over.

Here on FaceBook you can find an infinite number of cyberspace friends. FaceBook does the work for you. Then there are the different groups and causes that are out there. I am one of them who is trying to connect with people who have a similar interest in the Israeli/Palestinian Crisis. The levels, views, intentions, and degrees will very greatly in any cause based cyberspace friendship. I guess what I am trying to say is there is a lot of junk mail that has to be separated on FaceBook. We will see where the FaceBook road goes over time.

I guess the Global Crier can’t publish the story about the “Palestinian Slowocaust” I don’t want them owning that too. Still trying to learn the vines, hopefully without hanging myself. There seems to be a higher level/quality of debate, from what little I have seen on newsvine so far. When I joined newsvine I thought it was a site mostly for writers on different topics and comments. I am finding out that there are a lot of newsvine seeders and clippers on the newsvine site. That take other people’s articles and post them for you to read and make comments. They are rated by the number of votes and comments each one gets. Still trying to figure out how it all works. Wake Up America

A combination of political and economic changes are needed. Starting with campaign finance reform, medical health insurance, energy, foreign and military policies, right down to what is in our national interest and security. In a quest for more power and control the United States federal government has over step it’s boundaries in the lives of American people as well as the people’s rights in other nations. The United States may win the military war while losing the diplomatic battle for peace, while isolating itself from the rest of the nations in the world.

Understanding that our energy policies are connected to our environmental, political, economical and social problems in America and the world. Realizing that there is not enough world oil for other nations in the world to consume oil as does the United States. Our abusive energy policies are straining our relationship with many other nations in the world raising the global level of tension. A balance between what is in our national interest and global interest has to be made more rational and fair.

With our dependence on other nations for our high standard of living as a society. This has been at the expense of other nations. The American people are consuming 25% of the worlds oil while making-up less than 5% of the world’s population. The amount of the world’s natural resources, that the American consumers has turned into garbage, is a crime in its own right. With the world’s population growing to new levels like never before. This is creating a major strain on the earth’s limited natural resources with fresh drinking water and oil. They are disappearing almost at the same rate from mother earth.

The oil industry being the primary leader in our energy policies. They have a disproportional amount of influence over our government’s national and foreign policies. For the United States as part of its foreign policies to have another nation’s natural resources as part of its national security is wrong. In the self serving interest of the big oil companies we have an imbalance in our energy policies that are putting us in great danger. Utilizing our military and military industrial complex to guarantee the global flow of oil is putting our national security in great jeopardy. Trading oil for weapons of death and destruction while neglecting the humanitarian needs of the people has been and is our current policies today in the Middle East. The over lapping interests of the oil and energy industry and military industrial complex has miss led the American people and government to the truths and realities of the facts.

Special interest groups invest millions of dollars into lobbing our government officials for multi-billion dollar contracts, policies and favors. This was clearly the case of the pharmaceutical drug bill that was passed in 2003. A drug bill written by the pharmaceutical and HMO lobbies, that is being paid for by the American people. With un-parallel influence the Wahington D.C. lobbies have control over our government policies in their field of self-interest. David Global/Crier

A Palestine History Lesson for Nuke Gingrich

The Palestinian people were invented during the 5th century BC. This is the general consensus of most historians. So Nuke Gingrich you were off by about 2500 years. Then over many years, many outside forces took over the region playing territorial name games. With the last Empire holding onto the Pearl of the Holy Land (Jerusalem) for many years (approximately five hundred years) was the Ottoman Empire. At the end of World War I the Turks in October 1918 turned over the Pearl of the Holy Land to the British Empire.

With the use of modern day surveying equipment for the first time borders were established in the Middle Eastern’s arid terrain. The British Mandate of Palestine September 16, 1922 created the formal borders of what is today Israel and the Palestinian Territories. Here is a copy of a map from the Premier edition of Rand McNally World Atlas (1927) of the State of Palestine.

Now here comes what Nuke may of thought was the invention of the Palestinian people. In December of 2012 the Palestinians applied for full United Nations membership. It is being shot down by the Israelis and the United States government. Along with all of the revisionists historians such as Nuke and his right wing Christian cohorts. The same people who think the science and history books should be replace with the bible Saving the American taxpayers money by cutting or eliminating the Department of Education. Many other of the American national politicians sound like they have learn their world history lessons in their place of worship. Or maybe they are scared as hell of the possible repercussions of the Jewish lobby. This question was posed to me by a fellow blogger. “Do you believe that withholding military aid from Israel would lead to peace? If so, how?” This was my response;

Withholding United States military aid from Israel would be a great step towards peace. Especially if half of it went back to reducing our national debt and the other half was invested into the Arc plan, A Formal Structure for a Palestinian State. Then you would start changing the environmental conditions on the ground. The Israeli government would be force to cut back on there military spending and presence. The Palestinians could start to improve their infrastructure improving their way of life. It would open new doors of opportunities between the Israelis and Palestinians. The cooperation involved in the implementation of the Arc plan would build new bridges of communication and understanding between the Palestinian/Israeli people... I could write a book about the way to peace.

But it will never happen in my lifetime because of people like you and the ones that think like you and my brother of the Christian right wing. Just look at the Republican debate in Florida. The United States government has pledged over three billion dollars a year in military aid to the State of Israel until the year 2018. This is on top of, well over a hundred billion dollars of United States aid to the State of Israel over the years. With two-thirds of it being military aid. It works out to over five-hundred dollars per every Israeli annually.

The military industrial complex in the United States and the State of Israel profit greatly from this military aid package. The State of Israel could not afford to maintain the illegal military occupation of the West Bank and the imprisonment of the 1.4 Palestinian people in Gaza without the United States military aid package over the many years. While the United States gives the Palestinian a hundred or two hundred million dollars a year if they behave and do not try something stupid like trying to become a recognized nation in the United Nations. Yet the Israelis bomb the hell out of Gaza and more bombs and military aid is on the way from the U.S.A..

With a few people and corporations in the United States and Israel making so much money off of this military aid package. They are heavily vested in seeing that the military aid continues. Making it harder, to nearly impossible to get on the road towards peace with so much money pledge towards conflict. There is not one federal elected official in Washington D.C. that would stand up in front of their peers and or the American people and say: “Let us invest thirty billion dollars into the Arc plan A Formal Structure for a Palestinian State over the next ten years. It is a giant leap in the right direction into finding a peaceful solution in the Palestinian-Israeli crisis.. It addresses many of the problems the people of Palestine face in forming a viable state. Only with a prospers Palestinian society that resembles the society of the State of Israel will the people of both societies have any real security. Yet almost in a single voice on both sides of the isle in Washington D.C. the United States government pledges over thirty billion dollars of military aid to the State of Israel over a ten year period. Israel Insanity Iran Nukes

As the insanity grows between Israel and Iran, over the nuclear proliferation in the Middle East. The question becomes where will it end when the State of Israel is the only Middle Eastern nation who has undeclared nuclear weapons today. Almost no one in the world except for a few people in Iran who want to hold onto power, want to see Iran become a nuclear military nation. It is almost globally unanimously seen as going the wrong way for global peace and security. As it is with the State of Israel and/or the United States bombing Iran preventing them from becoming a nuclear nation. With the exception of a few Israeli right wingers, a few American right wing military hawks and a few oil rich Sunni kingdoms, the nations of the world are in agreement.

The State of Israel being seen as a nuclear military nation on steroids that has been threatening the Islamic region of nations. The State of Israel over the last sixty-five years has bombed and or militarily attacked Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq and the United States (USS Liberty). Not counting the Israeli covert military operations or the suppression and military occupation of the Palestinian nation of people. Meanwhile the oil rich Arab nations are spending far too much money on military weapons and far too little on their social disadvantaged programs for their poor. Creating little to no opportunities for their young people that are poor while remaining as economically powerful oil rich kingdoms.

The on going clash between the national interest and security of the oil exporting nations and the oil dry industrial nations with their need for more oil continues. With little to no regard or understanding of what is in the people’s best interest on the other side. The governments of the United States and the State of Israel continue to politically and militarily dictate many of the policies in the region for what is in there own self interest. A clear example of this is the State of Israel’s non-compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and International Atomic Energy Agency inspections of the Dimona nuclear plant. While holding Iran’s feet to the fire, Israel and the United States are threatening to bomb Iran’s possible nuclear sites. Whether these sites are for peace time civilian use or military use is an unknown. What is known is that since 2010 four of Iran’s nuclear scientists have been killed in cold blood under very suspicious circumstances.

What is certain is if we continue the practices and policies of yesterday. They will only bring us back to repeating the same old mistakes making things worse to the point of a global catastrophe. Without a balance where you live up too, what you expect from the other side. Things will not change for the better and will only continue to get worse. On the other hand if we start to treat our adversaries the same way we want them to treat us. We may open up a whole new world of new possibilities that will bring us to a much better place. You Have to Develop Trust Over Time

If we wait until one side trusts the other side, or we wait until both sides trust each other. Peace, security and justice will not come about and trust will never develop and grow between the two people in the Holy Land. Only went you fly a helicopter along the Green Line. You can not see a difference between the East side and Western side of the Green Line will there be trust between the two people. There is no question without an infusion of a great amount of capital into the Palestinian side. Creating many more new opportunities and improving the Palestinian people standard of living will peace and trust grow.

Without hope and a clear vision of a better future such as the arc plan that outlines A Formal Structure for a Palestinian State is turned into a reality. Will prosperity bring peace that will turn into trust between the two sides of people. There will still be the lone wolf extremists and the anti-peace and compromise groups on both sides that will continue to be stumbling blocks. They will have to be sidelined and minimized not letting them derail the progress towards peace. Where to begin, how and when the arc plan is going to be implemented are the questions that have to be answered.

The strong support and the endorsement of the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority is the beginning of the implementation of the arc plan. With both sides signing a pledge of cooperation in the full implementation of the arc. There will become new and improved realities on the ground that will help the future negotiations on the points of contentions. Opening new doors and possibilities that will bring the two sides closer together. That will make progress toward peace and trust a reality.

At this point, block and project grants will have to be raised from the international community of nations. Where nations, cities and organizations from around the world with the rich oil Arab nations leading the way with their pledges and support of the ten year arc plan. With the expansion of co-cooperation groups such as “Seeds of Peace” to work hand-in-hand on the implementation of the arc by building bridges of understanding between the people. As living, economic and political conditions improve on the Palestinian side the environmental conditions at the peace table should improve making more progress possible.

Arc & Palestine United Nation Membership is Progress Towards Peace

Amidst everything going on with the Arab Spring in the Middle East. The Israeli government would be in a much better position going forward. Letting the Palestinians gain full United Nation’s membership while supporting the implementation of “the arc” A Formal Structure for a Palestinian State. Giving Palestine full membership status to the United Nations would give them a legitimacy among the international community. Making them equal to any other nation. It would lift the morale of the Palestinian people giving them a victory in restoring their dignity and pride as a recognized nation among the body of the United Nations. The Arc would be a good starting point in the reparation to the Palestinian people for their great losses and hardships over the last sixty plus years.

Only by the Israeli government helping create an equal counter partner (the Palestinians) will the Israelis have any chance for peace and security to grow among their neighbors. As long as the Israeli government continues to suppress the Palestinian people keeping them in a depressed state of affairs there will continue to be acts of violence leading to rage and more conflicts. The Israeli governments cooperation on the full implementation of the Arc will help change the realities on the ground for the better on both sides.

The Israeli government will have to promise the international community of nations that they will not bomb out the new Palestine infrastructure that they paid for. As the Arc plan is completed, new opportunities will arise on both sides. Many more tourists will come to see the Holy sites in the region. This will bring a lot more new revenue creating prosperity. Neither side can let the lone wolf derail the progress that is made. It will take generations for the hate and contempt that is on both sides to change to tolerance, understanding and trust. The Great Snow Storm and How Two People Can See the Same Thing so Differently

We had a very early heavy snow storm in late October that knocked out the power on the East Coast for many days and two weeks for some. I had my brother and sister in-law staying with me that weekend. They are both born-again Christians that moved from New York to the Bible belt right after college, first Tulsa, Oklahoma then just out side of Atlanta, Georgia. The storm came in Saturday afternoon and my wife, teenage daughter and brother/sister in-law were all out of the house doing what they had planned.

I am home alone trying to get ready for a storm that was catching all of us by surprise. I was having problems getting my plow working on my truck. I am trying to get everybody home safe before the storm. Everybody in my family is telling me don’t worry we will be home soon. Boom one o’clock in the afternoon the power goes out and the snow is coming down like crazy. I can not plow my driveway for everyone to get in the house. Finally around four o’clock my brother and sister in-law make it home and this is where it begins.

They both were saying how they missed the snow and how beautiful the snow on the trees and everything being white. They were in great awe and so happy to see the snow. Having no power/TV we had no outside distractions so we had a lot of time to talk with my brother and his wife. My sister in-law asked me why am I so full of tension and un-happy looking. She saying it is so beautiful out there. Then my cell phone rings which is the only communication we have besides a radio. It is my wife and she is stuck on a train coming out from the city.

Meanwhile trees and very large branches are falling down all around. My shrubs in my garden are bending over to the ground because of the weight of the snow and my teen-age daughter is gallivanting around. My wife calling from the train with a dying cell phone battery wondering what to do, and where to go. While my brother, his wife and I were sitting around the wood stove staying warm and talking. About how two people can see the same thing and go through the same snow storm but see it totally differently.

Where they were totally enjoying the romantic moment the wood stove, candles and the snow they missed so much from their childhood’s days. I was worring about my wife stuck on a train, my daughter out and about and trees and shrubs being destroyed all over my gardens I love so much. Yes in the end everything worked and everyone got home safe in a day or two but the same experience at the time was so different.

By Only Looking Back We Will Never Be Able To Solve Our Problems Going Forward

Trying to unite people to finding a way to peace is much harder than uniting them into war and conflicts. For the most part the same thing can be said about people. Where it is much easier to unite people against something or someone rather than unite for something positive and good. Just look at the world of politics, and news for an example. The extreme usually taking the front page and most of the space and time of the coverage or debate. Leaving very little room and time for the vast majority of people that are closer to the middle.

With it being much harder to build and create than it is to tear down and destroy. We often see things the wrong way by the narration we are given by the establishment. This does not just happen on our side but on all sides at many different levels and platforms throughout society. Too often when something good comes along such as The Ark that is ignored, sidetracked or dismissed by too many people on both sides for one reason or another. With both sides holding to there own points of contention rather than trying to move forward into un-charter waters with too many unknowns.

The deeper you get into the details the greater the disagreements become. Whether you are talking about what happen in the past {history} or what is going to happen in the future. You will never correct or undo the wrongs of the past. If you only look at and go back to the past. You have to look forward into the future for the changes that will make things different for the better. But this is often ignored and never gotten too because we are looking and going back. The arc A Formal Structure for a Palestinian State produced by the Rand Corporation. It is a giant leap in the right direction into finding a peaceful solution in the Palestinian-Israeli crisis. It is a ten year plan to develop the West Bank one day connecting it to Gaza. It addresses many of the problems the people of Palestine face in forming a viable state. Only with a prospers Palestinian society that resembles the society of the State of Israel will the people of both societies have any real security.

They spent more than 3 million dollars and four years in the development of this plan. It is a thirty-three billion dollar plan over ten years that addresses the Palestinian issues of transportation, housing, education, commerce, justice and the contiguity of the State of Palestine. It is a very comprehensive plan creating a clear image of a much better way of life for the Palestinian people. Restoring their dignity and hope for a better future for their children is the best first steps towards peace.

There is no way to peace, peace is the way. The Arc is the way for long term peace to become a reality in the Palestinian/Israeli crisis. The challenges are to make the Arc a reality that more people can see, as well as working out the full implementation of the Arc’s plan. The earlier more people get behind a plan like the Arc the sooner it could become a reality. A Great Lack of Balance

With such a great lack of balance between what nations spend on war verses peace is a crime against civilization. The United States government alone spending over 700 billion dollars a year on the military which accounts for over 40% of the global military spending. According to the CIA World Fact Book the seven countries that have the highest percent of there Gross Domestic Product going toward military spending are Middle Eastern countries. With Saudi Arabia spending 10% of their GDP on military spending and the State of Israel spending 7.3% of their GDP on military spending. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations democracies (nations friendly towards the United States) accounts for about 90% of the global military spending.

The United Nation’s annual budget is less than five billion dollars annually or it is about the size of Mexico’s military spending or the University of California’s annual budget. With such a large disproportional amount of the global resources going towards military spending instead of peace building humanitarian ways. No wonder we have the conflicts and wars going on today around the world. Especially with many of the oil rich Middle Eastern countries and the State of Israel having the highest percent of their GNP going towards military spending. The United States contributes about 25% of the United Nations current budget. Which works out too less than one percent of the United States annual military budget.

Without a major reevaluation of global and national priorities and spending we will not see global changes for the better. With the United States and her allies spending over a trillion and a half dollars annually on military expenses, comparatively so little on constructive humanitarian aid for the less fortunate. The global economic down-turn leading to the Arab Spring and the protests in the State of Israel over the high cost of living. As the western oil-dry industrial nations struggle to keep their economies a float with massive deficit spending. The United States about 5% of the world’s population is consuming 25% of the world’s oil. The United States imports more oil than Germany, China and India combined while these countries make-up over a third of the global population. With the United States consuming so much of the world’s oil on borrowed money from the rest of the world. These are some of the great imbalances that are creating many of the problems we face on an on going bases.

Where the Palestinian-Israeli peace process should start is by reforming the Israeli social engineering laws and policies that are bad. The State of Israel being one of the newest most modern society that was created through intensive social engineering. This creating many of the problems that we see today between the Israelis and Palestinian people. Whether it is the fact that the government of the State of Israel owns and controls 93% of the land within Israel proper for Jewish use only. Or the Jewish use only roads it has created in the illegally occupied West Bank. It is the Israeli government’s social engineering policies and laws that have inflamed an already tense and volatile situation into a sixty plus years of a state of on going war.

There was or is no other way to create a new Jewish state out of a land that was the homeland of another people without social engineering. Today it is clearly understood that there is a Jewish State of Israel that possesses unofficial nuclear weapons with an official fleet of five submarines. From Jewish people without a nation to an unofficial nuclear military power in just sixty plus years. So there is no question on who has the power and control of the Palestinian and Israeli Crisis that has been created through the Jewish Israeli’s social engineering policies and actions.

The question is “For how long will the Israeli’s bad social engineering policies and laws be in place and to what degree will they go?” In a newly created America in the Declaration of Independence “Where all men are created equal” slavery was part of the accepted American system. It was not until the Civil War, almost one hundred later was slavery was abolished. Then it took another hundred years before black and white could use the same bathrooms and water fountains. Taking America almost two hundred years to reform-implement some of its bad social engineering policies. The time from muskets to becoming a nuclear military power that was leading the free industrial world. The State of Israel does not have two hundred years to reform its bad social engineering laws and policies in time of atomic weapons of mass destruction and global instant mass media information.

If the State of Israel started to reform some of its bad social engineering laws and policies. There would be so much international goodwill, mostly from outside the region the State of Israel would be seen in a much more acceptable light. Leading to better relations with its Arab nations of people and governments. Who themselves are going through there own revolutionarily times of the Arab Spring.

The Holy Land Nation

What plans and actions will bring long-term peace to the Palestinian and Israelis. Today the general world wide consensus is a two state solution with a Jewish state and a Palestinian state. But the two state solution does not address the major problem of the Old City of Jerusalem that is at the apex. Neither side will concede the Old City of Jerusalem to the other side. This is one reason many of the earlier plans to divide Palestine into a Jewish state, Palestinian state and made a zone for the International City of Jerusalem.

Given the religious significance of the region to the world’s three main religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Maybe why a one nation plan (the Holy Land nation) with three or four separate states should be considered. A peace plan like this might solve more problems than it creates. While creating a permanent governing structure for the long term for both sides to work within. Giving both the State of Israel and the State of Palestine there own autonomy within one nation. With the State of Jerusalem being a separate integrated state with its own bylaws. With the four possible state being Gaza.

The State of Israel will head up, in conjunction with the State of Palestine the security of the State of Jerusalem. Most of the State of Jerusalem having equal access to all. With the two possible exceptions being the Jewish Wailing Wall and the Islamic Temple Mount that will have some added restrictions. Creating a nation of states for the two people to peacefully coexist will create a tourists boom for the region. Where the people from both sides could prosper and over time build trust and understanding of one another.

Palestinian-Israeli Three Third Settlement Peace Plan.

This is a synopsis of the Palestinian-Israeli Three Third Settlement Peace Plan. The following will be dealing with the disputed land that is being illegally occupied by the State of Israel. With 80% of the Jewish Israeli’s settlers on 20% of the occupied land. One third of the occupied land running adjacent to the 1967 Armistice Line will become part of the State of Israel with some conditions placed upon it. The second one third will be part of the new State of Palestine with some conditions placed on it. The last one third will be the new State of Jerusalem with many conditions placed on it.

Today the State of Israel controls 93% of the land in Israel proper. That is lease to Jewish people only through 49 and 98 year leases. The Jewish one third of land will have a different set of by-laws allowing of a more in mix population 1/3 Palestinian and 2/3 Jewish. The same will hold true on the Palestinian one third with 1/3 Jewish and 2/3 Palestinian. With the people on either side being able to apply for dual citizenship. Only by creating the conditions for a mix of Palestinian and Jewish population along the border of the two states will the condition for a long term peace be created.

The most contentious part to both sides and the international community is the Old City of Jerusalem. The Old City of Jerusalem has an international religious significance like no other city in the world where three of the world’s major religions come together. For this reason the State of Jerusalem must be created with a whole new range of by laws creating equal access and security for all. The State of Jerusalem will be run by a council 1/3 Palestinian, 1/3 Israeli and 1/3 from the international community. The Israelis will head up and run the State of Jerusalem security forces that will be made up of 1/3 Israelis, 1/3 Palestinians and 1/3 from the international community. The Jewish settlements that fall into the State of Jerusalem will again be divided 1/3 Jewish, 1/3 Palestinian and 1/3 for the international community. The international community could be people from the universities, churches, the Vatican, the United Nations, European Union, international civic organizations, Arab League, Mosques and Temples from around the world.

It will take great sacrifices by the people on both side with a properly balance social engineering plan implemented for peace to workout. There will always be a small minority on both sides will try to derail any plans for peace because they will not be satisfied until the other side is wiped out. They must be sidelined for the greater good of the majority of people on both sides.

9/11 X Years Later

Creating more hate and fear than peace and understanding between people and nations around the world. Diverting over a trillion dollars into two wars of choice and hundreds of billions more into a hi-tech global police state that the Russians wish they could of had. Yes, what really happen on 9/11 raises more questions to the truth. Questions that will never be answered in our lifetime.

The facts about 9/11 told to us by the United States government and mass media goes against common sense and the laws of physics. That two planes hitting the two World Trade Center Towers and in about an hour they fall nearly at the rate of free fall (gravity) within their foot print. Then about eight hours later Building 7 a forty-seven story building about the size of a football field falls again nearly at the rate of free fall (gravity) within its foot print. Building 7 never being hit by any plane and is surrounded by other buildings on three sides that had little damage done to them. With a great amount of prosperity among nations of people you can maintain civil societies. As long as there is economic growth, political and social justice with job opportunities that are available to the people. Part of political justice is the peaceful and orderly transfer of political power from one leader to another leader that is usually found in democratic nations. Even democratic nations will turn into chaos without economic prosperity.

Economic hard times is a game changer where civility of a nation will diminish as the economy defaults. As the old world’s economic and political models breakdown, the global economy will become worse. Making the bad situation of so many people unbearable creating civil unrest with a lot of uncertainty. With so many of the nations and world’s problems never being correctly resolved. They tend to compound making things even worse. Today we have reach the tipping point to many of these global problems.

Whether it is in Egypt, United States, Europe, Asia or the Middle East the interdependency of the good and bad will effect us all. It is a lack of balance and understanding to so many of the problems we face that are at the roots of the majority of our problems. It is the disconnect between the few haves and the growing number of have nots durning economic hard times that will bring civil unrest to a civil society. This can happen in any society whether it is democratic or dictatorial when economic times worsen for the majority of the people. With the improvement of technology and communication an uprising or revolution can happen in the matter of a moment in any nation that the conditions are right. There is a common global saying “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.” When this gets to a boiling point. Civil unrest and chaos will rise challenging the status-quo of the establishment. This is the point we are at today in so many nations around the world.

Israel’s Peace Treaty Bought and Paid for by the United States

The thirty some year Peace Treaty between Israel and Egypt-Jordan has always been on very thin and shaky grounds with the vast majority of the people of Egypt and Jordan. The real glue that held the leaders of Egypt and Jordan together on the Peace Treaty with Israel was the tens of billions of dollars of United States military and foreign aid. With the State of Israel getting the great majority of the United States military financial aid while making the life of the everyday Palestinian people worse than ever before. All of which is very well publicized in the Arab nations especially in Jordan where over half of the population are of displace Palestinian descendants.

With the mass media news leads in the United States greatly favoring the Israeli side and in Egypt-Jordan they greatly favoring the Palestinian side. The way the people of Israel and United States see the problems to this life long conflict greatly differers than the Arab people on the streets. This fomenting great hate and anger towards the actions and policies of the State of Israel and the United States. Where the Arab leaders could be paid off with large sums of oil or foreign aid money to overlook the Palestinian situation.

The Old City of Jerusalem being on the frontline of this life long conflict, bringing out the religiously indoctrinated extremists from all sides. There is very little difference between the Israeli Jewish religious extremists and the United States Christian religious extremists and the Arab Islamic religious extremists. They are one of the same when it comes to compromising on their religious beliefs with others often leading to conflicts. Where the political leaders could be bought and paid for to change and compromise their position. The same could not be said about the extremist religious leaders of faith. Creating a cultural divide between the political leaders of nations and the religious conservative people of faith.

With Saudi Arabia being the largest paying foreign customer of the United States Military Industrial Complex with the latest deal totaling sixty-five billion dollars. This in a region where the vast majority of the population lives in poverty with a very few people living like kings. For the most part a closed and tightly controlled monolithic religious region with a lot of the world’s oil reserves.

If there was no oil in the Middle East region. There would probably be no Suez Canal and major oil pipe lines in Egypt connecting the East to the the Western industrial nations with little to no oil. With the vast majority of the Middle Eastern people’s ancestral family’s roots going back over four thousand years in the region. Just under a hundred years ago the vast majority of the Middle Eastern people were living as they did in the fourteenth century. With the discovery of the earliest and largest oil reserves in the world this brought great changes very quickly to the Middle East region.

The oil for military weapon and support programs that have been going on for many decades between the the Middle Eastern nations and Western industrial oil poor nations is not sustainable. Traditional closed societies with autocratic rulers will not be able to survive in an open and free world. The internet with a higher educated population has changed the way people get information including the news. There is a certain irony that in Egypt one of the world’s oldest in tack societies is the first to have a revolution sparked on the internet.

Today we are living in a time when things are changing very fast in the world around us. That many of the ways of the past that are seen and are perceived as being bad, do not change as quickly as many of other things in the world. Creating even larger problems in the future. Unless we get to the modern day root of many of our problems we will continue to sow the seeds of war and despair around the world. With a lot less United States foreign military aid and a little more international humanitarian aid we would have a much better and different world tomorrow.

If the Palestinian’s true story was ever heard or seen, would anybody ever believe it, or would it be dismissed as propaganda? During the Holocaust many European Jewish people and the black people in South Africa during Apartheid asked the same questions. When the government of Germany and South Africa were on evil courses many people and nations remained complaisant for too many years. They are not the only two nations with unsavory history as part of their past. The true story in the creation of United States of America and the American Indians and slavery has never really been understood by the majority of the American people. For the last sixty plus years many generations of Palestinian people have been asking the very same question. How can the nations of people of the world not see what is happening to us and let it go on for so long?

If you were to compare the Palestinian’s Slowocaust to the Jewish Holocaust there are great differences as well as some similarities. In the Holocaust there was much more of a focus on the quickest and most efficient way of killing great numbers of people that were labeled as undesirables by the Nazis. Mainly Jewish people, gypsies and homosexuals were killed with very little damage done to property. In contrast in the Palestinian Slowocaust there is mush less killing and much more property damage and confiscation of land. A very well organized and international financed operation by the Jewish Israelis to gain control of the land, with the Jewish National Fund being one of the main early cornerstones of this operation.

The Germany Nazis were and the Israelis today are very focus on developing the most sophisticated military arms. Both nations being leaders in the arms race of their time. With the Nazis using no restraint of the use of their modern weapons of the time to kill. The Israelis have for the most part used great restraint with their weapons of death in their quest to control the land. The German Nazis did not have to confiscate a great amount of land from the Jewish people of Europe because for the most part at the time Jewish people rich or poor could not own land in Europe. Many people have compared the Palestinian crisis to the times of the Apartheid South African government or the Holocaust. When there are great differences between them. ABC-AM radio and Fox national TV are the hubs for the born again conservative talk show hosts that have been inflaming the discourse in America’s national political forum. They have raised the level of rhetoric to a level of total insanity while they go off laughing all the way to the bank. They are equivalent of people who yell fire in a movie theater while they are shooting off their flame throwing guns. Saying it is not their fault the building was already on fire. How can you talk and reason with people that have this kind of nature?

The vast majority of people on the left-liberal side and right-conservative side would agree that the 22-year old Jared Loughner is personally responsible for the Tucson shootings. It sounds like he planned it out alone and was not a very stable person. Dropped out of high school, without a job for more than six months, rejected from serving in the United States Army and was thrown out of a local community college. A nut case by most people standards who like many other nut cases in America could go out and buy a handgun made for mass murder in a number of states.

Now here is where the right and left will disagree on some of the contributing factors that surround the Tucson shooting case. The fact that Jared Loughner mental disorder was not picked up and dealt with before this happen. The fact that a mental ill and unstable person can buy a semi automatic pistol with a thirty round clip in the State of Arizona legally. The fact that the rhetoric of one or group of insane persons loudly broadcasted over and over can sometimes drive another unstable insane person over the deep edge. The fact that Jared lived in a state that gun culture is held as high as the American Flag. None of these possible contributing factors takes the responsibility away from Jared Loughner in his horrible and malicious actions.

The Tea Party and Born Again Conservatives that want to repeal the Obama Health Care Plan with no concrete replacement plan on hand are playing a dangerous game of politics. If they instead said let us repeal ABC... and add on 1,2,3... to improve our over all health care system. Then there would be a sense that something could be accomplished for the better. To criticize and tear down with no real plan of replacement is too much of what we have going on in Washington today.

Just look and think about the official name of the bill that the Tea Party-Born Again Conservative Republicans came up with to repeal the recently passed Obama Health Care bill. The name is “H.R.2 Repealing the Job Killing Health Care Law Act. There is nothing good in this name. It is rather inflammatory, misleading, and threatening to the many millions of American people who recently lost their jobs and health care benefits no fault of Obama Health Care reform bill. No matter how low the Presidents ratings go down, Congress has always been lower.

If the Conservative Republicans are willing to name a bill as such maybe this is were much of the inflammatory and divisive rhetoric stems from. Scaring and dividing the American people even more than they are now durning these very trying times. Maybe if the Conservative Republicans would start by changing the word “Repealing” to “Reforming” and the word “Killing” to “Improved”. It will help set a different tone in Washington and the country in the discussion of “Reforming the Jobs Improved Health Care Bill”. Having the ABC... of repeal and the 1,2,3,.. of the add on will also help greatly improve the tone of debate for a better bill.

The United States military has been fighting and disarming the Militias in Iran and Afghanistan. Losing thousands of young American lives and tens of thousands have come home maimed and injured for the rest of their lives. Never mind we have spent nearly a trillion dollars in the process.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) founded in 1871 the pro Gun people say the more guns in the hands of the American people the safer Americans will be. There is no compromise it is a Constitutional guarantee right that was written in stone in 1791. For any American politician to challenge the NRA is almost guarantee political suicide. The NRA is the strongest and most powerful special interest lobby in Washington DC with American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) a close second. With the State of Israel receiving over three billion dollars of United States military aid annually.

While wanting to cut back on domestic humanitarian programs that serve the middle class and needy at home. The left saying we need to reform the health care system and social programs and less wars with more diplomacy. The right saying we need smaller government while destroying our social safety network letting big business and individuals run the country with no checks and balance. The conservative right perspective is what is best for me and my country and the liberal left perspective is what is best for us as a nation of people and the other nations of the world.

The majority of people from both sides would agree on that there is too much government waste and abuse of our tax dollars. It is where and how they are abused and wasted they would mostly disagree. The conservative right wants to be the military police of the world dictating and controlling the ways of other nations of people in the name of our nation’s national security. With little to no regard of the customs and cultures of the indigenous people of the land. Just look at the history of the broken treaties with the American Indians in the United States expansionism for total control of the land and its natural resources.

It is not like Congresswomen Hayworth does not have any horses in health care reform. Yet on her official government and personal website she offers no alternative solutions other than repeal of Obama Health Care. Why should the American people be surprised that a moderate member of the United States Congress got shot in an open to the public “meet & greet” in Tucson, Arizona. Commonly known as the “wild, wild west” in a city where an ABC affiliate TV station is KGUN channel 9. Congresswomen Gabrielle Giffords just won a very close and nasty election against a Republican Tea Party candidate in the wild, wild west. In a nation and time where the people are very polarized and divided on what is the right way and wrong way for the future of our great nation.

Whether it is some of Fox News commentators and people such as Sarah Palin and some members of the Tea Party, the seeds they have sown have come to reap in the mass murders in Tucson, Arizona. The belligerent rhetoric of too many born again conservatives towards their opponents is endangering the future security of our nation. At a time when too many American families are in dire-straits with no jobs, losing their homes and health care benefits. To start off with medical tort reform and the ability for interstate health insurances competition should have been part of the Obama Health Care bill that was past. On top of that the Obama Health Care was never connected to the problem of more American jobs. With hospitals closing all around the country at the same time our country has the greatest amount in numbers of people heading into their elder years. That the current and projected cost health care to the cities, states, federal governments as well as old large American corporations is driving the system broke. Too many promises have been made that cannot be kept under our old system.

A clear and better picture to what total Obama Health Care reform would look like and how it would work should have been made. The American Educational system could be a comparison to what the American health care system should become. Meaning we have great public and private Universities and Colleges as well as some for profit and some for non-profit too. The same should be true in the American health care system with a better balance between the profit and non-profit organizations.

The Obama Health Care should have set more goals to make the picture clearer to the American people. Such as increasing the number of medical educated students by a million over the next ten years. We need more physician assistance, nurses, and medical technicians to work in our local communities. To open five-hundred new non-profit medical clinics over the next five years. These clinics would not be government run. They would be run by groups that are already operating some medical non-profit clinics today. That the public school nurse should be able to give a child an aspen without the liability of a massive lawsuit.

Only by building out a stronger and better non-profit wing of the American health care system will we create more competition bringing down the per person cost. A stronger bond with more bridges are needed between the profit and non-profit medical services. With America losing all kinds of jobs all over the country the medical field is one place we need more of them all around the country. American Health Care reform is one part of putting the American people back to work.

Why the Answers to our Problems are so Hard

First there are many more wrong answers than there are right answers to the problems. Then you have the incomplete answers that are partially right answers that can mutate into the wrong answer. On top of that, you got to get the people in power to agree that it is the right answer. Assuming now you have the right answer, you have to get it implemented and working so people can see. To do this you will have to go through all of the pro and con forces of power to make it work. It is easier to unite a nation of people against something than it is to unite people for something. Religion and the negative political campaigns are a good example of this.

Just as it is easier to criticize than it is to construct or agree. With the natural instinct of human nature being afraid of great changes with all of the unknowns it brings. Too often the power of fear is used to sway a nation of people off in the wrong direction. By not recognizing many of the mistakes of the past we will not see the right answer to the future and we will only repeat our mistakes. It is a lack of balance and understanding that are at the roots of many of our problems and it is fear and greed of a very few people in power that want to maintain the status-quo.

Whether it is harder to get those few people in power to agree on the right answers or to proper implement the new changes so they work are the major parts of the problem to the answer. There needs to be a new paradigm for the United States government’s domestic and foreign policies has to be reached with the American people and the nations of people around the world. A better balance in fiscal, social, political, and military matters of the United States government will make all of the difference in the world. A new and higher level of respect must be achieved at home and abroad for those people and nations that are different. Including the world’s natural resources, environment, and human rights of all of the people in the world.

The great difference to the wars of the past and the wars of today and tomorrow. The wars of the past were against nations of people with military weapons that could not totally destroy the world. The wars of today are against a group of people that have a different ideology that can not be won. Any full out military wars of tomorrow will have no winners almost everyone will lose and the whole world could be destroyed many times over. We as a great nation of people have to change our wrong ways of the past so we can have a better tomorrow.

Working Poor Can Not Pay Any More

For the Congress and President Obama to pass an extension on all of the Bush Tax cuts and to extend the unemployment benefits beyond the 99 week period is insanity of a totally dysfunctional government. Durning the last ten years of the Bush Tax cuts our national debt has more than doubled durning times of artificially low interest rates. With the greatest amount of wealth in the United States being held by the smallest percent of people since the 1930’s. There is a great disconnect between Pennsylvania Ave. / Wall Street and Main Street USA. So if you think it is unfair for somebody like Derek Jeter who just signed a fifty-one million dollar three year contract with the New York Yankees to pay a higher rate than somebody making four-hundred thousand dollar a year. Than do not complain when your cable bill goes up or any of the products that you buy that are made by the companies that are sponsors of the very high paid sport stars.

With our federal government borrowing more money from the international monetary system to continue two endless wars (Iran, Afghanistan) whose total cost are unknown while being the volunteer military police of the world. The United States having a military presence in over one-hundred and twenty nations including some of the nations that were formally part of the Soviet Union. So call non provoking War games in the China Sea right off the coast of North Korea. The United States continuing to sell more military weapons to more nations than any other nation in the world. With the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia buying sixty-five billion dollars of United States made military weapons. While the United States government is giving the State of Israel approximately three billion dollars of military aid annually as well as billions in humanitarian aid.

Unemployment in the United States running over 9.5% for over a year and half with many government economists and Wall Street players saying the so called recession is over in the United States. Where most of the American people have only seen two years of a Federal balance budget (The last two years of President Clinton) during their life time. Today you can make millions or billions of dollars in long term unearned capitol gains and only pay fifteen percent.

It is very confusing why so many of the working class conservatives support the Bush Tax cuts for the people making more than a million dollars a year and so against having a safety net for those working class poor American people who are down and out on their luck. No more big government is not the answers to all of our problems neither is no government at all. There has to be a balance between Big Government and Big Business so that the best interests of the American people as a whole are protected. The question be comes do we go back to a tax system than looks more like the pre-Bush tax cut era when we had a federal budget closer to being in balance or a complete and total overhaul of the whole tax system. The latter will take a complete and total breakdown of the system before it will be agreed too and implemented.

It is not a question whether “the glass is half full or half empty” when the glass is broken when it comes to the United States economic model. Over the last thirty years the United States National Debt and the United States Trade Deficit has only spiraled out of control. The question is when the glass is going to shatter. The United States being one of the wealthiest nations in the world borrowing more money from the international financial monetary system at artificially low interest rates, while consuming more than they produce as a nation.

Under President Reagan’s eight year term the United State’s national debt almost tripled to over 2.8 trillion dollars. President Reagan administration cutting taxes while greatly increasing defense spending changing the projected course of our national debt. In less than thirty years, under mostly so called conservative Republican administrations the United States national debt has gone up by ten-fold. Only during the last two years of President Clinton’s eight year term did we have a balance federal budget where we did not add to our federal national debt. Today our national debt is going up at a rate of over a trillion and a half dollars annually during a period of artificially low interest rates.

Just with a slight up tick of the interest rates and or the foreign producers of our consumer goods (shoes, cloths, electronics, and so many other basic staple good we no longer produce in this country) ask for payment for the goods we consumed in the past. The United States Federal government’s shell game will be over. In one last ditch effort the United States Federal Government is planning on buying back 600 billion dollars of their trillion and a half dollar of debt with more borrowed money.. If this is not a ponzi scheme than what is?

They are the first to vote for more large corporate welfare while wanting to cut the social safety net for the less fortunate American people.

Whether you are a Gentile, Non-Believer or an Infidel, the religious warring extremists of all three religions are one of the same. They use the name of their God to fight those who they label as their enemy. To kill a person with an unman drone is no more or less civilized than to kill a person by stoning. Yes a drone is much more advance in a technology way, maybe making it worse because they have more power, means and control over the situation. The religious warmongering extremists want to dictate their ways onto other people’s way of life.

We are at a time in history where the Christian and Jewish warmongers have united their sophisticated war machines and armies of war against the so called Islamic extremists in the name of God and freedom. Too often we are punishing, maiming, and killing innocent people of Islam who are caught up in the middle of the war. Creating more Islamic people who hate us not for our freedom but for occupation of their land and the killing of their innocent brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and children.

The level of tolerance for our brothers and sisters that are similar to us verses those who are different. The Catholic clergy gay pedophile scandal is a good example. Staunch supporters of the “Right to life” and the “Right to bear arms” in a time and world where there are far too many people and too many people killing people. The American modern day religious conservatives claiming to take the high road in the name of God have raised the level of hate of other people who do not believe in the same way as they do.

The level and degree of deception that the modern day American conservatives are willing to use has under mined the national security of our nation. From the Neocons of war to the billionaire Koch brothers they have conned the American people. The great differences between the far right and the far left is one side is one side is fighting for what is right and has to be amended and the other side is fighting for the wrong that they want to dictate.

The Road to Peace

Most people would agree that we can not continue on the same path we are on in the Israeli-Palestinian crisis as we are today. The question that needs to be answered is what and how are things going to change for the better. Where all of the people in the region can live together in peace and security with dignity, freedom, and prosperity. Then some questions have to be asked “How many different choices are there and which one is the best for the most people on both sides?” There are some people that want a one state solution on both sides. Many other people want a two state solution on both sides. Have not heard of many people from either side supporting the one nation two state concept.

Then you have the question of the Old City of Jerusalem that even complicates the clouded picture of peace in this conflict even more. Bringing out the religious zealots of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam to use their religious book or scroll to polarize their masses of people. Trying to find peace without addressing the questions that surround the Old City of Jerusalem will put you in a stalemate where we are today. The vast majority of the earlier commissions before 1948 had the Old City of Jerusalem as a separate international city state including United Nation’s Resolution 181. Something that is not even considered as an option today by very many people.

Only by being balanced in addressing the concerns of the people on both sides will the road to peace become possible. One must be honest and truthful in dealing and recognizing the facts on the ground on both sides. Such as which government really has the power and control of the situation on the ground in the region. To who are the real victims in this life long conflict between the Israelis and Palestinian people. Then you will be able to see clearer some of the answers that will bring you closer to peace. Under the right conditions and circumstances peace will be able to evolve over time. Creating many new ways and new doors of opportunities that were never possible before for the people on both sides.

Can you imagine the State of Israel having normalized diplomatic, commercial, and social relations with her Arab nations neighbors. An Israel where they are interdependent on one and another. Teaching and training her Arab neighbors some of the modern new ways of medicine, farming in the desert, and high tech and the list could go on and on. Where the need for military spending could be greatly reduced on all sides. Putting those savings into more social programs and projects including reducing their national debt.

Can you imagine a Palestinian nation of people living in similar conditions as their Jewish neighbors. Where the Palestinian people have the same human rights to travel and be free politically and socially as their Jewish counterparts. Where all Muslims could go to their Temple Mount as the Jewish people can go to their Wall to pray. A Palestinian people that have been compensated for some of their great losses, with some dignity being restored to a great number of Palestinian people.

Maybe then the government of Israel will find more security and acceptance among the international community of nations. Once they are not living next too the worlds largest prisons and they do not have so many Palestinians (over ten thousand Palestinian people) locked up in their prisons. Only with some great changes towards more justice on both sides will peace and security come about for the vast majority of the people in the Holy Land.

Land for Peace Treaty

To draw a clearer picture of what a two state solution would look like the land will have to be divided into zones. The different zones will be created to regulate and control the make-up of the population and culture. For the most part what is right for one side should be right for the other side too. Both Palestine and Israel will be divided into zones with East Jerusalem being a separate city state. Israel zone 4 as an example is a region within Israel proper that is for Jewish people only where the Jewish Laws are strictly enforced. No cars on the Sabbath, the forbidden sale of non-kosher food and so on. Another example Palestine zone 3 where the people of all religious faiths could live with the Palestinians would make up roughly 60% of the population. There would be mosques, temples and churches with much more openness and tolerance than zone 4.

The zones would help to integrate and segregate the two nations of people living side-by-side in the Holy Land. These zones will help create different environments that will be more conducive for the different segments of the local population. Where in Israel zone 4 the ultra conservative Jewish people can have their place and the more open progressive Jewish people could have their zones to live and work. With in the general zones there will be sub-zones for commercial, residential, farming, industrial, development, conservation, religious and holy sites. The government of the State of Israel controlling and owning 93% of the land within Israel proper. This will make it possible with Israeli government support for a master zoning plan as part of the land for long term peace.

The 1967 Green Line (Armistice Line) being the international recognized border will be the border between the two nations for the most part. Most of the Jewish settlements deep inside the Palestinian side of the Green Line will be turned over to the Palestinian Land Authority. These will become separate zones that will have an integrated population of Palestinians, Jewish people of Israel living in Palestine and international people that are working with the NGO’s and governments to implement and oversee the Land for Peace Treaty. Only with a strong and balance Rule of Property Laws can you have a civil society living together. The Israeli government for too many years has used their Property Laws to discriminate against the Palestinian people. The Israelis will have to overhaul their property laws and the Palestinians will have to establish their property laws. Both nations will have to establish courts that will be overseen by the international community to process claims, disputes and settlements for lost property. This will create a building boom within Israel proper for all of the Jewish people that will be returning from the former Jewish settlements in Palestine.

This has been an on going tactic of the Israeli government that has happened over and over. One more Israeli provocation for the Palestinian people to react too so the Israelis can close down and lock-up the Palestinian people of the West Bank. This means many Palestinian people may not be able to get to their place of worship, work, school and travel outside their regional zone. The West Bank Palestinian farmer’s vegetables and produce will not be able to make it to the Israeli markets. What little West Bank commerce there is normally, it is almost completely shut down.

This is why it is a crisis for the Palestinian society and not for the Israeli society. The day to day normal life for the vast majority of the people of Israel goes uninterrupted while they collectively punish and imprison the Palestinian society in the West Bank and Gaza. As the documentation of the Palestinian crisis improves and is disseminated out for the people of the world to hear and see. Israel being by far the largest recipient of American government foreign aid with Egypt and Jordan receiving billions of dollars annually as well.

The United States government is going to have to cut off or greatly reduce the amount of foreign aid to Israel, Egypt and Jordan very soon. America no longer has total control of its own economic economy never mind the global economy like it once did. The American model is broken and is not able to stand up over the course of time without major political, economic and social changes. There are many places and points in the world were things have reach a “tipping point” and there are no simple answers to the problems. Other than things are not right and major changes have to be made that will go against the many wishes of the current powers that be.

With the old industrial world losing much of its international monetary clot and oil (sustainable world supply) and the global impact this is having on the environment reaching a “tipping point.” Where the nations with the largest and most expensive military economies will no longer be able to afford them. Where the governments of nations were able to manage and control their populist in good economic times it becomes a very different picture in hard economic times. Things can get a lot worse than they are today. That is why it is imperative we address these problems and issues today before it becomes to late.

What an experiment/experience it was; I asked three questions about the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.
Who has the most power and control to make peace or war in this life long conflict between the Palestinians/Israelis?
Who are the real victims in the Israeli/Palestinian crisis?
Can the United States government be a fair and balance peace broker in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict?

Three well thought out questions I wanted to get a responses too with multiple answers. I wrote and logged the questions on Monday, March 1, 2010 but did not activate until Saturday morning March 6, 2010. I sent them to varies websites pertaining to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. For the first 40 or so hours there were 2/1/2 votes an hour on the three questions. With the majority of the responses very much in favor of the Palestinians side. With a few exceptions like Gabe1 who left a comment on question 3. Gabe1 Posted March 7, 2010 “They can be neutral after Barack HUSSEIN Obama (Obamination for short) s gone”

Then Monday morning came at nine o’clock and things changed greatly. Over two hundred all very pro Zionist votes showed up in the first two questions of the first open hour of business. Skewing the polling results in the favor of Israel. One more victory for the extreme pro Zionists in the Informational Wars. Google “Gabe1 Israel” and will find his chat rooms where he spreads his hate and contempt for those who disagree with his very narrow beliefs. “The Olive Branch” and “Truth for Justice” being two of these sites.

One of the reasons I waited until I posted my poll on Saturday was I wanted to get the polling results from a grass root level and not the organized professionals of the distorter of facts and information. I was expecting an attack of one kind or another but when and what time I wanted to find out. It was nine O’clock Monday morning Eastern time in the United States not Tel Aviv time. Now it is just part of the digital history but was very informative and reconfirming in some of the things I thought to be true.

Neri is someone I would have considered as a Israeli extremist until I compare him to somebody like Gabel1. All of a sudden Neri looks much more moderate. Neri and I have agreed on very little, yet Gabe1 puts us in the same camp of ideals and beliefs. I am pretty sure Neri is much more disturbed by this comment than I am. But, what is the most disturbing to me is the fact that the extremists on either side are so much more united and focus with the vast majority of the moderates squabbling over so many trivial issues remaining very divided.

Palestinians/Arab Informational War

The Palestinian/Arabs have to start dealing with the global media informational war front much more intensely to win over the global public opinion. The internet playing a larger and larger role in the dissemination of information around the world. This is a tool that has to be utilized and developed much more in getting the message of the Palestinian and Arab people out to the world. Better networking has to be developed between already existing Palestinian/Arab websites.

Some new Palestinian/Arab websites should be developed that are specifically designed for teaching and furthering the education of English elementary, middle and high school children as well as college and graduate students. Creating a research and informational center of links to other credible Palestinian and Arab sites. This site should be linked with a Palestinian/Arab website that gives out grants for education. An educational essay grant program should be set up for the four different levels of education of higher education. This will encourage more students to do more writing and research on the Palestinian crisis and the Arab world.

With the support of the Arab League of States and not individual Arab nations this new network of websites should have more credibility and objectivity on the issues and problems confronting the Palestinian and Arab people. Teaming up with other website groups such as “Lend for Peace”, Seeds for Peace” “Washington Report on Middle East Affairs” and so on will be vital to building a stronger network to get the true story understood outside the “box.” To do this it will require much more work to be done on two more fronts, the grass root political and international legal fronts.

For the “Grass Root Political” front a young Palestinian and Arab student Ambassadors program should be created to help get the message outside the box. With promotional documentary videos be made on the Palestinian crisis with monetary prizes be awarded to the winners of the best videos. A Palestinian/Arab speaking tours should be arranged for some of the outstanding Palestinian and Arab Student Ambassadors to spread the truth to Americans and Europeans.

As part of this network a program should be setup for students of law from around the world for the legal prosecution of Israeli humanitarian/war crimes that have been committed on the Palestinian people. Creating more international legal briefs and the ground for more international prosecution of these crimes.

The programs outlined above could help in winning the informational war of truth to the Palestinian crisis. Not until the informational war is won in the United States will there be justice, peace, security, and prosperity in Palestine. This program will help alleviate some of the inner tensions and frustrations of the young Palestinian/Arab people while helping to educate the students in the western nations.

Forty years ago doing research on a specific topic such as the Palestinian/Israeli conflict would have been very hard to near impossible if you wanted realtime information from both sides. Yes, you could study and find the most up to date information on the Israeli side of the coin but information on the Palestinian side of the coin did not exist in very many libraries around the United States. Today the internet has greatly changed things in this regard leveling the playing field in the dissemination of information.

The internet is like having the Library of Congress at your finger tips. You can get realtime information right from the horses mouth from anywhere around the world. Even if you can’t read the language, you have “Google Translate” to translate any language into your language of preference. Opening the doors to the other side creating a way for a better understanding. The gate keepers of mainstream mass media/government still have control of the volume to what is heard and how often by the general public. But the internet has opened up many more avenues of information that cannot be controlled as it was in the old days.

The Pro-Israeli side has developed and utilize the internet to nearly its fullest potential and the Palestinian/Arab side has not. The Jewish people around the world have for many centuries been some of the greatest and strongest networkers giving them a great advantage over the Palestinian/Arabs in the international information wars. The internet must be used much more intensely by the Palestinian/Arabs for better public relations and dissemination of information. I don’t think there are any people on either side (Palestinian, Israeli) that want things the way they are today that have any creditability at all. The question is not if the Jewish State of Israel has the right to exist. For that is a given.

These are the questions that have to be honestly addressed before there will be long lasting peace:
How can the Palestinians and Israelis people live on one land coexisting in peace and prosperity?
How can the Palestinian people be compensated for their great losses?
How does Israel want to be perceived as a nation on her seventy-fifth birthday by the international community of nations?
What is a balance and fair settlement that will bring justice to both sides?
How will peace and prosperity be implemented to both sides?

If these questions could be answered without spinning off to “What about this" trying to pass off blame to others. The reality on the ground would change rather quickly on both sides. An end to the way thing are now is the first step. Retaliation is not the way to peace. Occupation is not a way to peace. Collective punishment and imprisonment is not a way to peace. Sporadic rocket fire and suicide bombers are not a way to peace. Home demolition and targeted assassinations are not the way to peace.

The ways to peace. More building than destroying. Prosperity and security on both sides. For the people on both sides to live with dignity, and freedom to travel and practice their religious beliefs in peace. The nation of people who have more power and control are more responsible for the way things are today. That there are far more victims on the Palestinian side than there are on the Israeli side in this crisis.

If the standard of living of the Palestinian people was raised closer to the Israelis level we would not be facing most of the problems we face today. Yes there will always be the loose cannon that will try to derail peace especially given the religious location. They have to be prevented and isolated treated as an individual case. The actions of a few cannot impede on what is in the greater interest of society as a whole.

I voted for President Barack Obama who ran as the peace President. If I wanted a War President I would have voted for John McCain. I voted for a change from our ways of the past where we do not fight our way to peace. President Obama brought so much new international good will to the White House that is being squandered. It is the system that needs reform before our leaders will be able to lead us correctly. Today the life long high-level government bureaucrats have far too much influence over our elected officials including the President of the United States. Especially the people in high-level Federal government and military intelligence have a disproportional of influence over our policies and military actions.

Sending thirty thousand more American troops into Afghanistan seven years after the initial invasion-occupation is a recipe for disaster. After spending over a trillion dollars on two wars of choice (Afghanistan-Iraq) over the last seven years. President Obama ups the stakes in Afghanistan taking our nation the wrong way. There is no way for foreign conventional military forces to fight a war of ideology in another people’s land and win without wiping out the population. I was hoping that President Obama being the man he is, was going to stand up to the military industrial complex and take us away from the cycle of perpetual war. Bringing a better balance to the way Washington reactions to problems, conflicts and disagreements between nations. Our adversaries do not have to become our enemies of war if we use more diplomacy and carrots and less of the military big sticks.

Today we have grave concern at home in our nation that need to be addressed and corrected before we will be in the position to help anyone else. The lack of balance in our nations spending, trade and borrowing has weaken our national security and has put us at odds with the rest of the world. President Obama please stand-up against those conservatives that vote yea on war without raising any concern about cost and are the first to vote nay on any healthcare reform because we can’t afford it. Do not compromise your principles and values with the same leaders who have been taking our nation down the wrong road for so many years. There is no way to peace. Peace is the way. Health care should be a human right and to own a gun should be a privilege that is regulated.

In the Holocaust there was much more of a focus on the quickest and most efficient way of killing great numbers of people that were labeled as undesirables by the Nazis. United States Ambassador Susan Rice called for the an end to “anti-Israel vitriol” attacks at the United Nation in Jerusalem while the United States-European and the State of Israel play out two weeks of war games. The United States and the State of Israel are the master of mass media manipulation of the truth to cover their path of sins and crimes of the past. Prime Minister Netanyahu address to the United Nation in Sept. 2009 epitomizes this so well. Talking about the Goldstone Report, Holocaust and the Islamic terrorists as Israeli’s right to do anything to defend her self.

What the State of Israel has done in the name of defense is to create a Slowocaust with a very sophisticated high tech military industrial complex over the last sixty years. Today it is only Israelis that can make better military hardware and software than the United States military industrial complex. For two weeks they will test the software and hardware of these missiles near Gaza and the West Bank where the Palestinian people have been living imprisoned under Israel military control for years. So something as simple as a plane helicopter, or jet flying over head has a totally different meaning and feeling that someone who lives under imprisoned occupation for so long.

The latest military actions the State of Israel that has done outside borders of Israel proper must be investigated and those worthy of trial must be tried before the International Court of Law. Including the bombings, military attacks and occupation of Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, West Bank and Iraq. Only after the State of Israel has been held accountable for its illegal military and social action against the Palestinian people and dramatic internal political changes are made. Then the State of Israel should be respected as South Africa and Germany are today within the global community of nations.

So if United States Ambassador Susan Rice wants to bring an end to the “anti-Israel vitriol” attacks by the international community of nations. Have the United States government put the pressure on the government of Israel to change her evil ways of today and to make amends with the Palestinian people. The transformation of Germany and South Africa would have never taken place without the global international pressure being applied. The same kind of international pressure has to be applied on the State of Israel to make the reforms that are needed to gain acceptance and respect within the international community of nations.

The Israelis control almost all of the electricity, fresh water, border trade, and seaports of the people in Gaza and the same holds true to the Palestinian people in the West Bank. The Palestinian people are cut off from seeing their family members and Holy sites in Jerusalem and other places.

The long recorded pattern of abuse and torment in a collected fashion against the Palestinian people has gone on far too long by the Israelis. The State of Israel by design is a Jewish State with little to no room for anyone else with the Israeli government owning and controlling 93% of the land for Jewish use only. Over the years the Israeli government’s actions and policies have created a lot of hatred and animosities in the Palestinian and Arab world that is over flowing into the rest of the world. Michael Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, and Glenn Beck as well as a host of other shock jock should be charge with high crime and no misdemeanors. They should be prosecuted to the fullest existent of the law, Rush Limbaugh for his "Operation Chaos”. These are the people that are the real threat to America freedom and security. The Reagan conservative’s revolution has moved the pendulum in the United States so far to the right. Israel has created a state of denial to get away with her nuclear weapons program and her uncivil and inhuman treatment of her neighbors. Israel could only get away with what she has gotten away with the blessing of both major political parties in the United States. Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton gave the Israelis her blessing on the Israeli air strike on Syria in the Democratic Debates at Dartmouth Collage.

Only with the support of both major American political Parties can the State of Israel get away with the murder and mayhem that she has for so many years. This is why so many people hate us as we stand united in terrorizing the lives of so many people in the Middle East. As long as anyone from the United States or Israel sets a different standard than they are willing to live by, they will be seen as being wrong and as a hypocrite by the majority of the people of the world. It is said that the victors of war write the history books. Yet if the truth is not told at the time then how accurate can the history books really be. This is a brief outline in a peaceful protest against Exxon the worlds biggest oil company that is resisting in become an environmental friendly energy company. Both Shell and British Petroleum have invested much more in the research and development of alternative renewable energy sources. Exxon leading the oil lobby in the United States has been a major road block in the research and development of alternative energy sources. The only things the big company’s executives understand is profit and loss on the bottom line of their financial statement and their retirement package.

A message has to be sent to the big oil companies that alternative renewable energy sources need to be developed and implemented. New cleaner and greener sources of renewable energy need to be developed that can not be monopolized as with the profits of oil. By focusing on Exxon a message can be sent to the worlds big oil companies to think long-term environmentally.

In many states there is a deposit on soda and beer cans and bottles. By law a business establishment that sells the returnable bottles and cans must accept the returns and refund the deposit to the customers. The store must sell the exact size and style of bottle or can that is being returned for a refund. If the American people in large numbers could return their returnable bottles and cans to the Exxon convenience store a message could be sent.

As part of the Green Energy Exxon Protest the customers should pay for as much of their gasoline with nickels, dimes, and quarters. If these two actions were taken on by thousands of American customers a clear message would be sent to the big oil companies. Local environmental groups could organize Green Energy Exxon Protest Days. With people willing to stand in line to return their bottles and cans and pay for their gasoline in change a bottle neck will be created cutting into the profits of the oil companies. A platform of time standing in line will be created for the protester to chat among themselves and the other customers that may not be aware of the environmental and energy problems that are on our horizon.

Too many of the people that are part of the Christian rarely get or give any credit to any information or knowledge that does not originate from the Bible. They use their Bible as their cornerstone, foundation and roof for what they believe is right.

The American Christian Right have taken over the United States political system making it one of the hated governments in the world. It is their lack of tolerance of other people and their ways. It is the religious fervor of the American Christian Right that makes them no different than the enemies we are fighting today. The religious extremists on both sides have more in common with one and another they do with the majority of the people within their own nation.

Too many people of the American Christian Right read the Bible for their primary source of knowledge getting little to no information from other sources other than the their church. Too often their understanding of global history and science comes from their Bible and their religious leaders. They will thank their God for having more than other people, who are the non believers while fighting them so they can take more for themselves.

Too many of religious extremists of the Christian-Judaic Islamic faiths are people who can kill the non-believes of the people on the other side. Justifying it by saying they are doing it in God’s name. They polarize nations of people to go to war fighting in God name while they blame others for the problems we face in the world today. Yes, they will take the high religious road while they are putting down all of those people around them who are the non-believers.

My God Is Not Your God

It is up to people to decide how they are going to use what God has created. One can not blame God for what thou has created. They can only look at what they have done with what God has given them. For if there was no bad we would not understand what is good. God created more good than bad in a world that bad wins more often than good. Balance and Common Sense

The reason that logic and common sense, sounds so radical is because things are so far out of balance. Today we are so far off course that we are going the wrong way and don’t even know it. This holds true on many different levels and platforms throughout our society. The further we go the wrong way, the more difficult it becomes in identifying the correct course. It is humane instinct to blame someone else for their own problems while those who are responsible denied the truth.

Too often what the great masses of people are told is so far from the truth. The general public is usually told what makes their leaders and nation look good. As long as the lies are held up as the truth we will continue to go the wrong way. So often those who tell the truth are discredited by the establishment and or silenced by the extremists on either side. When the powerful become the extremists our problems become even greater and this is where we are today.

The solutions to our problems are usually in the middle of the extremists on either side of the issue. Only by coming to the middle of what we believe and the truth will we find the compromising solutions to the problems we face. For the roots to war are many times the same and so too are the formulas to the solutions. Let common sense and logic of the majority prevail over the lies and miss-deeds of the extremists on all sides. Because of the larger role of some play and their sheer power, they must be the first to change their ways.

Yet any American person who stands-up talking in favor of universal health insurance for the American people is labeled a socialist or even worst a commie. This in a nation where to own a gun is a protected right and health care is a privilege. Why would those people in power who live in comfort want to question the system that has provided so well for them? This holds true in the private and public sectors throughout the establishment. Yes things are way out of balance between the haves and have nots in America and the world.

American workers are in competition with people in other nations that are making less an hour than what the American worker pays in Social Security taxes. The annual cost of General Motors health insurance is over a thousand dollars for every car GM sells. With no control over our international borders the system of the United States is being strained to the breaking point. Whether it is the inter-cities hospitals providing health care for the very poor people with no insurance, to the cost of health care insurance for the average working family. Bottom line the American mass media Talking Heads will only tell you the accepted party lines. Not wanting to rock any boats that might jeopardize their very comfortable position in life.

A Better Way for the United States and Israel

The Americans and Israelis have been blessed and they have abused that blessing. Whether it is the world’s natural resources or the global environment, the American people have abused them with little concern for future generations to come. We are pushing the balance of the human race and our global environment to the breaking point. The greed of a few people are abusing the natural resources of other people in the name of freedom and capitalism. A great nation such as the United States that is so powerful and wealthy selling more weapons than tools to nations of people around the world. Trying to unilaterally dictate global policies through the use of military force will create more enemies than friends and allies i.e. State of Israel is a good example.

There is no way the United States will break ties with the State of Israel. As well as there is no way things can remain on the same track as they are going today between the Palestinians and Israelis. Only by dealing with the true facts on the ground today, can this crisis be solved. The United States as a member of the Quartet has to put an enormous amount of pressure on the government of Israeli to make the diplomatic and political moves in the right direction. Otherwise tragedy will fall upon either nation if not both. A final settlement must be work-out that both sides agree too. Only by opening up more diplomatic channels that are transparent will things change for the better.

The few people that want to defend the bad policies and ways of yesterday have to be put to the side opening the door to new possibilities on both sides. There already is an international consensus to the final borders and peace plan with the exception of the United States and Israeli governments. Both the United States and Israel must come into the international fold changing the realities on the ground for the better for the Palestinian people.

Nowhere in the world are the environmental and humanitarian conditions are worst than in a regional war. The international military complex is profiting by supplying the weapons of death and destruction to both sides. The sales of these weapons must stop with diplomatic and humanitarian channels opening up on both sides. Then the economic, political and social environments will change for the better creating a safer and more secure world for everybody.

A person would have to be blind and dumb not to see the connection between Middle East oil- Israel with the Middle East wars that have been going on for decades. The Ottoman Empire was controlling Middle East and Northern Africa otherwise known as the modern day oil fields of industrial Europe which had very little oil and oil technology. From the very beginning of the industrial oil revolution the United States and Britain led the industrial nations. The British and French under the League of Nations drew the line in the sand dividing the oil, creating new nations in the Middle East. The United States at this time had a lot of its own oil reserves and it was the birthplace of the modern day oil technology.

At the end of World War II the United States being the only industrial nation whose military-industrial complex remained intact becomes a global superpower. The international modern day oil deals are made under Western Laws and military protection i.e. this beginning of the union of the military industrial complex and Big Oil interests. As long as Big Oil had control of modern day oil technology they could control the world’s oil supply. As the world’s demand grows for more oil, the tensions on the oil supplies increases creating the pretext for the modern day Middle East oil wars.

The United Nations is started with support of Big Oil and a new Jewish State of Israel is created in the Holy Land. A well thought out plan United Nations Resolution 181 was passed but never was correctly implemented creating a whole new timeline of modern day wars in the Middle East. This served the interests of the military industrial complex creating billions of dollars of sales. It also served the best interests of Big Oil by taking the minds and souls of the Middle Eastern people away to a conflict outside of the big Middle East oil fields and deals. This is all hidden as one part of our national security and defense.

Security of the Iraqi People

The questions of security in Iraq are multiple issues that have many different platforms that have to be dealt with in a timely manner. Whether it is personal or national security, financial or physical security they all come together to determine the quality of day-to-day life for the Iraqi people. Only by bring a balance to as many security platforms possible in a simultaneous manner will security become a reality on the streets of Iraq. The United States government can make this happen by filling the vacuum that will be created when they redeploy the American troops that are in Iraq.

The international community of nation with the Arab League must take the leading role in the re-construction of Iraq with the United States taking on a supportive role. The coordination of planning and implantation must be agreed to before hand with Iraq’s neighboring nations with the possible exception of Iran. With Iran being the “wild card” and the Turks, Syrians, Jordanians, Kuwaitis and Saudis are the working regional coalition on the reconstruction of Iraq. By utilizing the regional institutions and professionals a smoother transition can be made in Iraq from a nation in strife to a prosperous nation in peace.

This can only happen with international teamwork with the United States and western nations taking a backseat in a supportive role in the reconstruction of Iraq. The following things should happen before all of the American troops leave Iraq.
• The creation of new organizations that are outlined in the “Iraqi Refugee Task Force”.
• Money must be raised and material must be to fulfill the humanitarian projects as planned.
• The recreation of the new post Saddam Baathist party
• The American and British military forces must downsize there present in urban areas and remain green zones with the exception of special missions.
• Special training for the Iraqi security forces as well as some former regional military personal to replace the current foreign private security company’s personnel.

No matter which path you take from here forward there are going to be rough waters ahead trying to turn Iraq around for the better. It is finding the course with the least amount of resistances that will work the best for everyone involved. With more carrots and less of the big military stick the lives of the Iraqi people can improve. The sooner more Iraqi people have good paying steady jobs the better security will become in Iraq. Once the three fractions within Iraq (Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds) are working on the reconstruction of Iraq, the lives of the Iraqi people will improve creating a higher level of trust and tolerance.
With the down sizing of the western foreign military troops that today are perceived as the occupiers by the majority of the Iraqi people and the replaced with regional and local personnel. The condition in Iraq will normalize making more progress possible sooner. The bottom line is the majority of people want the same thing, a roof over their family’s head, food in their home, security in their neighbor, and a better future for their children.

The charts in Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth clearly show a correlation between the rising global CO2 levels and the global population explosion. In 1776 the world population was one billion people and in 1945 the population 2.3 billion people and today the world population is 6.5 billion people.
According to the United States Department of Energy the United States contributes more carbon emission (fossil Fuel) per person, well surpassing the amount of any other nation in the world. The United States contributes 30.3% of global warming greenhouse gases. That less than half of the world’s population in the industrial nations are contributing over 77% of the global warming greenhouse gases. That means more than half the world’s population is contributing less than 23% of the global warming greenhouse gases.

Things are so out of balance between the progress of the human race and nature’s environment. Between the nations of people that are the haves and the people of nations that are the have nots. Here lies the root to many of the wars and conflicts around the world. That the older industrial energy consuming nations are consuming more than their fair share of the world non-renewable resources (fossil fuel) that is increasing level of the global warming greenhouse gases. Without addressing these problems the world we leave our children will not be sustainable for very much longer. It is clear that there are global problems that are unlike none from ever before.

The environmental stress on the planet earth created by the human race has to be addressed by the global community of nations. The United States government and the international corporations can no longer use denial as a method in addressing the global warming greenhouse gas problems we face. The sooner we make the needed changes the better it will be for our children’s earths future. Why so many people around the world see the United States and Israel as terrorist nations. The main reasons so many people around the world see the United States as a terrorist nation is because of the United States unconditional military support of the State of Israel and the outcome of the war in Iraq. There is no question, that if the State of Israel was not an ally of the United States they would be perceived as a terrorist state by the American people. The military industrial complexes of both nations have undermined the security of the people of the world in their quest for control of the world’s natural resources and greater profit for themselves. Whether it is the control of world’s oil or the control of a region’s fresh water supply, the outcome is the same.

The lies that are told by the leaders on both sides often lead the people to wars. Whether it is the lies of the religious leaders or political leaders of either side, the truth is rarely heard by the people. By turning our adversaries into enemies we polarize the people on both sides leading us to war. Yesterday it was Iraq and today it is Iran and Syria. While Israel occupies and controls the land of another people in the name of God, we call the other side the religious extremists. The American political and religious leaders say they hate our freedom and democracy. Yet the Israelis have imprisoned the Palestinian people and their democratically elected leaders in the name of Israel’s national security. Both the State of Israel and the United States want to dictate the terms and conditions of peace with little to no concern of the grievances of the people on the other side.

The lack of common sense and balance is one of the major parts to many of the conflicts in the world today. Only by setting standards and conditions that are equal on both sides can peace and security have a chance to survive. How loud would the world’s outcry be if the Jewish people of Israel had to live in similar conditions as the ones they have imposed onto the Palestinian people? Once the American people and leaders can truly answer question like this one. Then the truths to the Palestinian-Israeli Crisis can really be addressed.

Iraqi Refugee Task Force

The majority of the one million new Iraqi refugees are living abroad are residing in Jordan and Syria. They are Sunnis that are highly educated people who left Iraq with little to nothing. The Iraqi refugees are the real victims of this war and they have the most to gain in the return of civility to Iraq.

The Iraqi Refugees Task Force would be a bridge between the international NGO’s and the Iraqi people in need of help. By assisting the NGO’s in communication and planning of the reconstruction of Iraq. Task teams will be established trying to utilize the Iraqi refugees in their former line of work. Task Teams will be established to perform the following tasks; Banking, engineering, construction, policing, employment agency, education, oil, farming, import, legal and medical.

Jordan and Syria being the host nations of many of the Iraqi Refugees will be looking for Sponsor Nations to help underwrite the cost of the tasks working in partnership with the international NGO’s. The United Nations will be the leading NGO working closely with the Arab League and the leaders of Iraq in the coordination of the Iraqi’s “wish list” that will be worked into the Iraq Master Plan of Reconstruction. This is a break-down of some of the tasks of the Master Plan of Reconstruction.

1. Banking- A non-profit Iraqi bank needs to be established for the people of Iraq. This bank will specialize in micro no-interest loans for the Iraqi people. These loans will be in three main categories.
o Start-up and or support of small business
o Buying and or building or fixing a family home
o Farming
2. Engineering- Universities and private engineering firms from around the world taking on pro-bono projects. This non-profit engineering group will network with specific Iraqi civil engineering projects with the international engineering community.
3. Construction- Pro-bono international construction consultants will work on Iraqi Wish List on the larger and more complex civilian infrastructure projects. Such as fresh water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, power plants, highways and bridges.
4. Policing-Jordan and Syria with the support of the international financial community must take the leading role in the training of Iraqi local security forces. Recruiting from the Iraqi refugees from within their nation as well as from Iraq.
5. Employment- A non-profit employment agency needs to be established to help the Iraqi refugees within and outside of Iraq to find jobs in Iraq. This is probably one of the biggest parts to restoring civility within Iraq.
6. Education- Nations, cities, corporations, and wealthy people will be encouraged to sponsor a school project in Iraq.
7. Farming- This is where the greatest opportunity for the western nations to help in the improvement of the Iraqi people way of life. With the western made farming tools and farming technology Iraq could become the bread basket of the Middle East once again.
8. Import- A non-profit Iraqi Import Agency needs to be formed to help manage the flow of humanitarian aid into Iraq. This Import agency will work with her sister agencies on the reconstruction of Iraq.
9. Legal- The Iraqi refugee lawyers need to form legal teams to help assist in the international and national efforts in helping Iraq. Establishing the “Rule of Law” and settling property disputes within Iraq will be two of the main issues that need to be addressed.

The majority of the Iraqi refugees are professional in the education, medical, legal and business fields. They need to be able to return to Iraqi with some sense of security. Only by revising the flow of Iraqi refugees and establishing security will peace and prosperity come about. The Iraqi refugees outside Iraq can become a link between the Iraqi people and the international NGO’s in the reconstruction of Iraq. The NGO’s must help the Iraqi people to work together as one people by helping the Sunni, Shiite, and Kurd. This can happen by getting them to work together on the Iraqi New Deal.

Once the Iraqi people can see light at the end of the tunnel, then the momentum of change for the better will flourish. This must start at the bottom on the streets of Iraq and work its way up into the government. The complexity of security of Iraq must be addressed on a broader base than the military or governments can do on there own. A better balance between military and humanitarian spending, as well as balance between government and the non-governmental organizations is needed.

Yosef Kuperwasser a Middle East Senior Fellow at the Brooking Institute spoke on January 10, 2006 about the Iranian and Israeli nuclear programs. Mr. Kuperwasser totally dismissed Israel’s nuclear military threat to the region and world while totally embellishing Iran’s potential nuclear weapons program threat to the region and world. For the Middle East region to be a nuclear free region does not mean every other country except for Israel. There lie the double standards of the Western nation’s Middle Eastern diplomacy and policies.

While most of the nations and people of the world do not want to see Iran become a nuclear military power the same could be said about the State of Israel and its military nuclear program. Israel is the only Middle East nation that has nuclear weapons and military submarines that are a threat to her neighbors and adversaries in the region. Without addressing the hypocrisy of the Palestinian-Israel Crisis and Israel’s nuclear military program there will be no foundation to build peace in the region.

Only by addressing the roots of the problems in the Middle East in a balance and fair manor will things change for the better. Diplomatically what would be considered fair and balance in solving the problems in the Middle East is unrealistic because of the official position of the State of Israel and the United States government. There is little to no chance of one side dictating terms and conditions onto the other side and having long term peace. Only by recognizing and addressing the grievances of the people on both sides can a sustainable peace agreement can be reached and implemented. By recognizing and dealing with the problems in the modern history of this region. Then new paths towards peace and prosperity can be blaze taking us in a new direction.

Iraq To Who Will Ever Listen

At this time it is not more American military troops than are needed in Iraq. We need to broaden the mix of players in the reconstruction in Iraq. The United States must down size their military role and increase their diplomatic and humanitarian role. This can only happen if Iraq’s neighboring nations can play a larger diplomatic role in this effort. A consensus plan must be reach on a multilateral level with the recently displaced international Iraqi refugees taking a leading role.

Since the United States-Britain military victory in Iraq in the very beginning of the war, the living conditions for the Iraqi people has been steadily going down hill. This trend must be revised before there will be any peace or security in Iraq. Only by broadening the diplomatic and humanitarian channels will things improve on the ground in Iraq. The organizing and training of the displaced international Iraqi refugees with the support of the international community of nations will create new channels of opportunities for Iraq. Iraq needs the recently displace Iraqi refugees (over one million new Iraq refugees have left Iraq since the beginning of the war) to return home in an organized manor to help rebuild Iraq.

Only the Iraqi people can handle and deal with any internal politic struggle and strife within Iraq. The international community nations and NGO’s can only help those Iraq people that want to help in the reconstruction of Iraq. Rebuilding a nation such as Iraq can only happen starting at the bottom working your way up. As is in the case of so many of the problems in the world today, the statistics and charts are going the wrong way. Only by changing the direction of the charts and decreasing the number of unemployed Iraqi people. Including the number of Iraqi civilians that are being killed as well as the number of Iraqi people fleeing their homes and county. At this time 100,000 Iraqi people are being driven out of their homes on a mouthy basis. Then and only then will peace and security have a chance to prosper and grow in Iraq.

The United States must cut all financial aid to the State of Israel, including the boycott of Israeli goods until the following conditions are met.

· State of Israel withdraws to the 1967 Armorist Line
· Palestinian Human Rights are restored, including water and property rights
· A moratorium on Jewish immigrants to the State of Israel until the Palestinian right of return is resolved
· Issues surrounding the Old City of Jerusalem are settled
· The State of Israel lives within the international nuclear laws and treaties
· Israel down sizes their military program
· Israel lives within the international laws and United Nation Resolutions

If the State of Israel meets these conditions the following would be guarantee.
· State of Israel will have normalized relation with the Arab nations
· The United States and European Union guarantee the State of Israel national security
· Israel will gain the respect of the majority of the international community of nations
· Israel will be granted full recognition in the United Nations

These will only be the fist step in resolve the Palestinian crisis. The Palestinian people are the victims today and this must be recognized and dealt with economic composition by the international community of nations. Then bridges of peace and prosperity can be built creating new ways forward for the people in the region.

Belief, Legend or Lie

There are as many stories about the history of the Holy Land, as there are people living in the Holy Land. Rarely is the truth heard about the Holy Land because of the different religious legends and beliefs. There is no question that the modern day foot print in the Middle East and Holy Land are not sustainable over the course of time. For there to be any kind of long lasting peace in the Middle East one must settle the question of the Old City of Jerusalem. Here lies the root of the hate and contempt towards the Western World i.e. the United States, Great Britain, and Israel. It is not freedom and democracy they hate, it is the bullets and bombs and the occupation of their land by foreigners.

The truth is found in the day-to-day life of the people living in the Middle East and Holy Land. Only by addressing the comfort level of the people will you find security, peace and prosperity in the region. What would the United States look like if they were living under the similar conditions as the people in Iraq or the West Bank and Gaza?

· If unemployment was 40%-70%
· If the security of your home and family were in the hands of foreign occupiers
· If your family and friends were being killed by the guns and bombs of the foreign occupiers
· If foreigners dictated and controlled your day-to-day life that was steadily getting worst
· The flow of commerce and people in and out of your nation was being controlled by foreigner occupiers
· If the supply of your fresh water and electricity were not constant since the foreign occupiers took over

In the case of the Palestinian people this has been going on for over sixty years. The Palestinian people are literally prisoners within their territory. The majority of Palestinian national elected leaders of the Hamas party are in the jails of their foreign occupiers. If the American people lived under similar conditions, things would not look too much different than they do today in Iraq and the Holy Land.

Too many nations of people are misled by the half-truths of their religious and government leaders that the mass media tell to them on a regular basis. Not knowing the truth to the problems we face as a nation of people in an interdependent world makes the problems worst.

There are many good examples of this on all side, all around the world. It is the degree and magnitude that varies in the importance. The people in power that want absolute control are the biggest threat to peace and security of the world. Great Britain Empire dominated the world during the 19th and early 20th Century as the United States has since the second half of the 20th Century. It’s the sustainability of the rapidly evolving world that is in questioned. With more of the world’s resources being allocated for wartime than tools for peace and prosperity.

When one nation consumes five times its share of a non-renewable natural resource and it is borrowing the money to do so. When the so-called riches nation in the world owes more money to other nations than any other nation in the world, there is something wrong with this picture. A nation built on consumption with no savings for the future is doomed for self-destruction. The massive waist by the privilege few and the lack of decency of the great masses of poor people is the foundation of lies that are perpetrated to preserve the status quo of the establishment.

Holy Days in the Holy Land

During the religious Holy Days remember how the reality on the ground is today in the Holy Land. Today you cannot walk or drive a car from the Old City of Jerusalem to Bethlehem without going through a wall and many Israeli checkpoints. A wall is being built dividing the two Holy cities creating a prison for those Palestinian people surviving within the wall. The Jewish settlements in the West Bank are growing by leaps and bounds as are the destruction of Palestinian homes. For over sixty years the foreign Jewish people have tormented the native Palestinian people.

Living conditions for the Palestinian people and for that matter Iraqi people have not been worst in modern times. The Lebanese people who have made great strive forward since their last attack and occupation by the Israeli’s military forces. The regional civil unrest is growing out of control as the day-to-day living conditions worsen for the majority of people. Unemployment is 40% to 60% with almost every person in the region knowing at least one person if not a whole family that has been killed by an American and or Israel bullets or bombs.

The amount of bloodshed that has taken place in the Holy Land since 9/11 is a crime against humanity that the United States and Israelis have brought onto the world. For there to be peace in the Middle East, the United States and Israel have to make radical changes to their policies and actions in the region. Today because of Israel-United States policies and actions the Israeli people are in an ever growing more dangerous position. The days a wall can protect a kingdom are in the past. Only by talking and negotiating with your adversaries will they not become your enemy in war. Only with a balance and rational approach to the problems of the region will the answers be found.

If the American taxpayers understood the true reality of the Palestinian-Israeli Crisis and its connection to the rage and hate of the people in the Middle East towards the United States and Israel. In the Iraq Study Group Report in the Executive Summary; “The United States cannot achieve its goals in the Middle East unless it deals directly with the Arab-Israeli conflict and regional instability”.

The tide is beginning to turn of the American people’s understanding of the problems and realities on the ground in the Middle East. There will be no peace in the Middle East until the Palestinian-Israeli Crisis is resolved in a satisfactory manner for both sides. At an Arab League summit on March 28, 2002 Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah who now is King of Saudi Arabia introduce and passed a resolution to normalize relations with the State of Israel with all Arab states, if the State of Israel will conform to United Nation Resolutions 194 and 242. The Israeli Defense Forces on the next day takeover control and destroy the office compound of Prime Minister Yasir Arafat in Ramallah. The Israelis have only convinced the American public and government that the Palestinians are the terrorists and they the victims while the majority of nations and people in the world see Israel as a terrorist state.

Just in the Twenty-First Century alone the governments of Israel and United States have done more to undermined peace and security in the Middle East. The United States unconditional financial and military support of the State of Israel makes the American people responsible for Israel military offensive actions taken against her neighbors. With Israel and the United States winning the military battles while losing the hearts and minds of the people in the region and world. As long as the United States and Israel destroy more bridges than they build there will be no peace and security in the Middle East and for that matter the world.

How Low Will the United States and Israel Go

Whether it is the comments of Secretary Rumsfeld about the people in the peace movement “Appeasing the Nazis”, Bill Marhe saying the “Whole world is anti-Semitic” or the Israeli government officials saying “We will knock Lebanon 20 years back” and “We must destroy Hezbollah”. Comments like these and many other that are similar show the ignorance of the American and Israeli establishment. The outright lies that are told to make the case or to support the case of war by the Israelis and Americans are a crime against the principles freedom and democracy.

The Israeli people being closer to the facts of the reality on the ground are more divided as people and there is more debate within in their government and mass media. The American people being so far from the consequences of war are feed only the pro-Israel side of the conflicts and wars. Anytime you have the mixture of politics, religion and military with occupation such as you have in the Middle East today. It will always turn into warring conflicts of civilians against the occupiers. Nowhere in the world is this truer than in the Holy Land region, a land that has been under the occupation of foreigners for many centuries.

Israel’s Arab neighboring nations have agreed to recognize Israel within the 1967 International Recognized Border. This is 88% of the former homeland of the Palestinian people. The American right wing Jewish mantra is “No land for peace”. What other nation of people would agree to give up 88% of their homeland for peace as the Palestinian people? Maybe this is a question Vice President Cheney or Secretary Rumsfeld would like to answer.

United Nations is Not a Country Club

Mr. President the United Nations is not a country club. For you to meet and only talk too your friends and allies at the United Nations is wrong. When you talk about war as the last option and you have no plan for peace is wrong. Only by talking to your advisories will you be able to understand your differences. The United Nations is a place for the advisories of the world to come together to talk and negotiate one’s differences with there adversaries. If one can not understand the grievances of their adversaries there will be more wars and less peace.

“What goes around comes around” is an old proverb that holds a lot of truth. To degrade the leaders of your adversaries will only deepen the divide of the people while raising the level of fear among the people. If the United States wants to remain as a major leading nation of the world the leaders of the United States must broaden their understanding to the problems of the world. This can only happen by talking to those leaders of nations that you have problems with. Only through diplomacy and negotiations can we over come our differences without going to war. By building more bridges and dropping fewer bombs a more constructive path to peace will be forged creating more global security.

More common sense and a better balance will bring a nation closer to peace and security than all of the bombs and armies in the world. The struggle between the military-corporations and the governments running the nations of people has to be brought into balance with the needs of the people of the world. This can only happen on an international platform such as the United Nations with the help of many other strong international sister organizations. Only by addressing one’s problems can we help others. You will be more secure if you win the hearts and minds of the people which intern will open new doors of opportunities creating more prosperity.

Hypocrisy of the United States and Israel

It is the Hypocrisy of the United States and Israel that have divided the world and is fueling the fire of conflicts and wars around the world. The United States and Israel dictate and impose their ways onto other nations of people often in the name of their national security. Whether it is in the United Nations Security Council or on the battle field of war the United States and Israel dictates the terms and conditions to their adversaries. The double standards in the enforcement of International Laws and United Nations Security Resolutions are at the heart of much of the international hatred towards the United States and Israel.

The latest war in Lebanon is a good example of the United States and Israel flagrant violation of international laws and civility. The Israelis claim the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers justified the destruction of southern Lebanon. With the majority of the nations of the world condemning the Israeli attack on Lebanon the United States and Israel continue the bombing and destruction for thirty-four day. Only a few Jewish-Christian Evangelical people and the government of the United States perceive the Israelis as the victim in this life long conflict.

Whenever the adversaries of the policies and actions of the United States and Israeli government speak out in defiance, they are not recognized or even addressed. It is the arrogance of the leaders of the United States and Israel has created more wars and conflicts by not dealing with their international adversaries in a fair and balance way. If the Israeli response to the kidnapping of two of their soldiers was just and right than what would be an appropriate response of the Palestinians and Arabs for the kidnapping of the two dozen plus elected Hamas leaders of the Palestinian Authority.

Where is the United State’s Foreign Policies Leading the World Too?

When both sides are saying the same thing about the other side, you often end up at a diplomatic impasse that often leads to war. Nowhere in the world is this clearer than in the Middle East. Israel and the United States being one of the same in the Middle East conflicts see Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorists. At the same time the Palestinian and Arabs see Israel as a terrorist state with both sides being right from their given perspective. Then the question becomes how you change the perspective of both sides not to view the other side as terrorists.

Both Israel and the United States must realize that they are not always right in their actions and assessments of the other side. The snapshot gunboat diplomacy of the past will not work today or in the future with a higher educated and literate society connected to the internet. The rights of one nation of people cannot infringe on the rights of another nation of people i.e. the Palestinian-Israeli Crisis. As long as you have unilateral- bilateral powerful military nations thinking they know what is better for other nations of people by occupation, you will have perpetual wars.

For there to be peace there must be an understanding of nations of people that are that are different from ones own nation of people. The national interests of one nation can not over ride the national interest of another nation’s national security without military conflicts breaking out. Only by brining into balance what is right and good for one side applies to the other side too. If Israel has the right as a Jewish State to possess nuclear weapons, then so does Iran as an Islamic state. Not to say this would make the region and world a safer or better place. Quite obviously most people in the Middle East and the world for that matter would feel a lot safer if neither nation possessed nuclear weapons.

Staying the Course Will Only Bring More of the Same

Whether it is the war in Iraq or the Palestinian-Israeli Crisis staying the course will only bring more of the same. The United States –Israeli policies and actions have only inflamed an already bad situation making it worst. The military industrial complex, the Jewish American supporters of a Greater State of Israel, the Bush Administration and big oil are doing more to undermine peace and security of the Middle East region.

It is the combination of the military and oil industrial complex and the pro Israel lobbies that are dictating and controlling the United States Middle East Foreign Policies. There is little to no difference between the Republican and Democratic National Party Platforms when it comes to the support of the big oil, military and the State of Israel. With the complicity of the American mainstream mass media the oil-military industrial complex and the Israeli lobbies have brainwash and misled the American people. The combination of these special interest groups has more power and control over the foreign and domestic policies and actions of the United States Government.

The United States government and people are at a major crossroad in history. One-hundred years ago the United States was a small young fish in a big pond. Today the United States is a big teenage fish in a small pond with the pond getting smaller everyday. It is time for the American people to take responsibility for the action of its government. For the American people to have more insight and understanding of the policies and actions of their government being the big fish in the small pond. Only by practicing what you preach and by leading by example instead of by military force will things change for the better. The Internet has opened the door for the world’s people to see the hypocrisy of the United States foreign and domestic policies and actions.

Many American people have woken up to the fact and understanding that the policies of the United States Federal Government are at the root of many of the latest conflicts and wars in the Middle East. There is very little understanding in the United States government foreign policies and actions by the American people. The United States Foreign Policies having the greatest impact on the well being of so many people of the world. The United States government’s reaction to 9/11 has only created more enemies than friends putting us in more danger.

America’s great dependence on the world’s oil, the U.S.A.-Israel military industrial complex and the military actions are the greatest threat to world peace and security. Only by bringing into balance the enforcement of the Rule of International Laws will things in the world change for the better. Leading by example and not military force will bring more peace and less war into the world. The words of leaders of nations must be heard and disseminated around the world. There needs to be less “he said, she said” filtered and often distorted translations of other people words that are out right lies.

The American mass media has lost its independence from the self-serving interests of the military industrial complex and the “power that be” in the government. Often working as a tool of the government and military industrial complex the American mass media filters the truth from the headline news misleading the American public. Especially when it pertaining to Middle East Wars that involve Israel. The truth may not be heard by many people, but the truth is understood by many more people. In other words, the people on the streets have a better understand of the truth. They read in between the lines, not believing everything they are told from the American mainstream media.

Five Years After 9-11 I Feel Worst than the Day After

On 9/11 as with most of Americans I felt like a victim of the unknown. Fear over came my body and sole unlike ever before in my life time. As with so many American it was a day that changed my life forever. 9/11 opened my eyes and mind to the world outside my little world of reality. On 9/11 as an American I felt like a victim. Five years later as an American I feel like the perpetrator of war crimes that are greater than the ones that took place on 9/11. The reaction of the United States government since 9/11 has only raised the level of fear, hatred and mistrust making the world a more dangerous place.

Has our military reaction since 9/11 turned the United States and Israel into there own worst enemies. The State of Israel and the United States stand united in their war on terrorists. While most of the nations of people in the world are on the side of the Palestinian, Iraqi and Lebanese people as victims in their struggle for their security, dignity and peace. They are all people who have been occupied by a foreign military in the name of national security of Israel or the United States and the oil consuming industrial nation. Too many of the on going military and political actions of the United States and Israel have only made a bad situation worst.

Yes, today so many nations of people are worst off than they were five years ago. Starting with the people of the United States, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and the list could go on and on. All because we can we can come up trillions of dollars for war and a drop in the bucket for peace. The greed of a few for more power and control ruin it for all. The great amounts of destruction the United States and the State of Israel have done onto other nation’s people since 9/11 are War Crimes Against Humanity. To punish a whole nation of people for the bad actions of a few is wrong and inhumane.

Israel has the Right to Existence But Not in a State of Perpetual War

It is in the best interest of Israel, the United States, the nations in the Middle East as well as the nations of the rest of the world, that there is peace in the Middle East. There is little question that things have to change big time in the Middle East before things will get any better. The United States-Israeli policies and actions against the Islamic-Arab nations of people are at the root to many of the problems in the region. The in-fighting within the region is only a by-product of these policies and actions by the United States and Israel.

There is no other region of people that have suffered more and longer being under the occupation by foreigners than the people in the Middle East. Today the Israelis are controlling majority of the land of the Palestinian people and a lot of the land of the Lebanese people. The Israel military retaliation to the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers is totally out of proportion. The collective punishment of the Lebanese people by the Israeli’s military is an International War Crime according to the Geneva Convention. The on going imprisonment of the Palestinian society as well as the elected officials of the Palestinian Authority is another War Crime. The Israelis life-long persecution of the Palestinian and Arab people would not be tolerated by the United States if the shoe was on the other foot.

Together Israel and the United States should be tried for War Crimes for military actions they took against the Palestinian, Lebanese and Iraqi people. The United States unconditionally backing of the State of Israel’s military actions and policies make the United States government a partner in Israel’s War Crimes. If the United States and Israel could accept their responsibility for past mistakes then they could begin on a new path towards reconciliation. By no means does this take other Arab leaders off the hook for their war crimes against humanity.
